Pierre-Luc Laflamme has been missing from the media since the beginning of the S26 season. A typically very vocal character, he opted to reserve his thoughts and opinions to his own locker room in Toronto. A good portion of the reason being was due to his schedule and mostly concentrating on his game, rather than social media or journalists asking questions. Laflamme has been especially quiet during the holiday months, as it is personally the busiest time of the year for him and his family.

Ultimately, falling short of making it to the Finals was fairly devastating for Laflamme. The Toronto North Stars made an incredible playoff run, coming back from a 0-3 series, to win 4 straight against West Kendall and take the series. Laflamme thinks that with the North Stars busting their ass for 4 straight elimination games really wore the team out. This may have been true, because after leading Hamilton 3-1 in the Eastern Conference Finals, Toronto last the next 3 games with Game 7 being an overtime loss.

But, with the new year comes a re-energized Laflamme. His game is right on point with where he wants to be and is excited for his 6th season in the SHL. Toronto looks to make the playoffs again and Pierre-Luc is looking forward to playing alongside a number of players he has played his whole career with, as well as new faces in Brovulchuk and Vilmenietis. Hopefully, Laflamme can improve upon his last seasons numbers and recently has brought a high-level of physicality to his game as well. He wants to take his playing level to "Elite" status and hopes to be recognized league-wide for his game and would love even more to bring Toronto it's first Challenge Cup!
