<div align="center"> Shl PROSPECT REPORT SERIES Shl

PART 2
Today we will look at SHL S28 draft eligible prospect Rising Hippo and SMJHL S28 draft eligible prospect Roman Ovechkin.

LW | 6’4” | 230lb | Detroit Falcons – 13th overall
SMJHL S27 – 50GP, 14G, 16A, 30P, +3, 56PIM, 137H, 14SB, 19.63AMG, 15PPP</div>

Biggest strength: It’d be difficult to pick just one item from his game, so with that in mind Hippo’s biggest strength is his overall play. He can shoot, pass, hit and isn’t afraid to take risks to create a potential breakout play.
Biggest weakness: At first glance you really can’t see anything wrong with Hippo’s game. He’s not particularly amazing at anything, but he certainly hasn’t shown any undesirable qualities so far. Perhaps the only item of note is the large portion of points on the power play. The production itself is amazing, but with 50% of his points coming on the man advantage you have question his ability to score at even strength. This may just be due to the small sample size, time will tell.
Draft projection: Late 1st round. Potential top 10.
Short term potential: Despite slotting in on the 3rd line Hippo logged serious minutes, nearly reaching an average of 20 minutes per game. Look for Hippo to once again play big minutes, if not more, as several Falcon’s may make the jump to the SHL.
Long term potential: Hippo is a first generation player that has shown stints of high activity around the league. If he can maintain that level of activity I see no reason why he can’t make a potential SHL suitor very happy one day.

<div align="center">Roman Ovechkin

C | 6’4” | 215lb | SMJHL Draftee</div>

Biggest strength: Look up the word offense in the dictionary and you’ll likely see a picture of this guy. Roman has shown time and time again that he can skate with the best of them and is a dual threat from the wing with the ability to beat the opposition with a quick snipe or a well-timed pass.
Biggest weakness: Despite his large frame Roman doesn’t show a great aptitude for hitting. To add to that his progress in the gym hasn’t been ideal as his overall strength has shown little improvement. In the SMJHL this shouldn’t be a big concern, but it may become more glaring as time continues and Roman approaches the SHL.
Draft projection: Mid to late 2nd round.
Short term potential: The SMJHL is all about scoring and Roman should fit nicely on a line with several returning SMJHL’ers. How much of an impact can’t be said for certain, but I feel if he is surrounded by the right guys Roman could surprise many.
Long term potential: Much like Rising Hippo, Roman Ovechkin is a first generation player and with that comes a certain degree of uncertainly as far as dedication to a long and successful SHL career. Based on the small sample size thus far most GM’s would be pleasantly surprised. Should be interesting to see where Roman lands this time next season.
