We are only few days away from biggest SMJHL draft in last 10 seasons and with so many promising prospects it will be very hard to predict the draft but some of prospects have already told their draft predictions so now we're going to take a look at who are ranked the highest between the prospects.

1. Jason Aittokallio



7 out of 8 mock drafts rank Aittokallio as the first pick of the upcoming SMJHL draft. Goalie as number 1 draft pick? We don't see that very often but this is Aitokallio we are talking about. Jakub Aitokallio is a name that every SHL player should know and because of his fathers success Jason immediately is considered as very talanted goalie who would be worth even the first pick. I don't know if goalie have ever been drafted with 1st overall but Jason could be first in a while if not the first ever. Aittokallio currently have 178 TPE.

2. Brynjar Tusk



Three different players were predicted to go at second overall but Tusk was picked more than other players so I chose him at 2nd pick. Tusk is a defensive defenseman with checking and puck handling as his strenghts. As a defensive defender no one will expect goals from him but defense of the team that drafts him will surely be hard to break down. Tusk currently have 191 TPE

3. Joey Ryan



Joey Ryan was prediced mostly as 2nd or 3rd overall pick but some prospect predicted him as low as 11th and even 16th pick so Ryan still haven't convinced everyone of what he is capable of. Ryan is a two-way forward playing as a center. His strong sides are passing, skating and of course faceoffs which is very important for center. One thing that stands out when looking at Ryan's profile is that his prefered jersey number is 1. I personally have never seen forward with number 1 but maybe that is the one little thing that will get him noticed between many other prospects. Ryan currently have 194 TPE
