What are you most excited about now that Jordin FourFour Jr. has made it to the SMJHL?

You were the 3rd goaltender selected, do you feel motivated to prove that you are the best goaltender in this class?

3 SHL franchises you would most like to play for?

Expectations for your rookie season?

Cheers

To play for a new organization, and now with the new playoff format, I am eager to help my team make the playoffs and hopefully win a cup. Halifax has been killing it in the SMJHL lately, so I hope the sim success will continue.

Oh boy, it just fuels the fire in me again to work from the bottom up. I was drafted 2 positions ahead of the original FourFour, and I really wanna show I am a draft steal again with this player.

Ooo I haven't really looked at goaltending situations, but I am going to say Texas (gotta break those records I set, Portland and Buffalo, would be nice to be the first goalie to win a cup with those expansion teams. But don't get me wrong, I'd gladly play for any of the 14 franchises

Well, considering HAL has a 250 inactive, i would say a little slow start to the year, hoping for around 25 starts this season. First year as a goalie is the hardest, you usually get lit up, so I am not hoping for much Smile) Just need to get the TPE up and build him nicely

Interview How were the days leading up to the draft?

Interview Did you had a SMJHL team (s) that you really wanted to play for? Any teams you didn't want to get picked by?

Interview Who was FourFour? Can you elaborate on him for the rookies and newby?

Interview Why did you become a goaltender?

Interview Where do you see Halifax finishing this season?

Well, i recreated pretty late. I think I had 3 days leading up to the draft to try and improve my stock, but with such a lack of need for goalie this year, it was pretty hard. Being an SMJHL GM in the past also made me come to terms with the fact I would be a later pick. Usually the skaters are the commodities to go after early on.

I really just wanted to play for a team that needed a goalie, in this case either PGF, HFX or COL. I am glad I got picked by HFX since they needed a goalie lol

OOO FourFour was the first player I made on this site back in 2013. We were in S13 at the time I believe, and the league was really overwhelming to my 14?15? year old self. I had an interest in making goalie in every league I was in, and I was a profound EASHL goalie in NHL 13/14 at the time too, which was nice. Anyway, FourFour was a draft steal in the SMJHL as I barely talked on the forums and he was drafted to VAN 26th overall, he had a mediocre first season mainly because I was inactive and then he was drafted to the Steelhawks 23rd? Overall and his legacy began. I came back to activity and really TPE whored the fuck out of him, he was a star in the SMJHL and I won b2b cups for the Whalers in S14/15. I got traded to Texas and became the franchise goalie there where I have every single goalie franchise record and I also won 2 cups, a couple McBrides and ALMOST a Ron Mexico (which would have been the 2nd goalie ever to win it). He retired after 10 seasons and was inducted into the Hall of Fame. Oh yeah, at one point I also had the most TPE among any players in the league with like 1700 or something, back then it was a HUGE deal, but now it's really common to see players achieve that.

I became a goalie again, because of the fun I had with the original player, and I wanted to reinvigorate that interest in the site back into me. Hopefully in the future I can take over management again and we can see how that goes.

Well, preseason has been kind to us so far, I am just hoping for a playoff berth. We have a rebuilding team and the sim is random, so hopefully we can all develop and the sim is kind to us so we can have a nice playoff run.

How are you feeling about your preseason performance, specifically?

Any long-term goals, big or small, already planned out for Jr.?

With your experience as both a simmer and a serial goalie creator, what would you say is a sincerely underrated goalie attribute in a younger (under 800 TPE, let's say) goalie?

If you were forced to pick just one goalie record you'd like to break in the SMJHL, which one would it be and why?

Show me a picture of your favorite breakfast food. If you don't eat breakfast, the most artery-clogging shit you get genuinely hype about eating.

Which opposition veteran do you respect the most?

Which rookie do you most look forward to playing?

Which veteran do you most look forward to playing?

Who is the hardest team to play against?

Is there a player you want to shut down particularly bad?

This is late af, but I loved my pre season performance, I thought I did great and I was hoping it would carry over to the regular season, but I got off to a really shaky start and I just have not been able to pick it back up which sucks, but its a learning experience and as a goalie I will probably be in the SMJHL for a few more seasons so I am not too worried

Long term win the cup thats it

Hmm underrated stat would for sure be skating, I have it as a weakness right now, but once I get into the SHL I am going to horde TPE into that shit because it makes a big difference in the SHL for some reason lol

Shutouts because thats dope as fuck

Uhh i too lazy to find a photo
