Hello draftees, the SHL Draft is right around the corner and Seattle would like to fine tune our scouting list. Here are couple of questions we have for you, to help us decide on who is the best fit for our team. We have couple of first round picks and look forward to being able to draft some of you!

1. What kind of player are you trying to build? How would you want to be used on this team?
2. Describe yourself in one sentence and a GIF.
3. Are you okay with staying down in the SMJHL for a season or two?
4. Do you know anyone currently on the Riot?
5. Do you know of and/or use Discord?
6. Are you good with writing articles and/or making graphics?
7. Are you open to advice on your build and doing whatever is best for the team?
8. Would there be any team tasks that you would be interested in performing (scouting for the Riot, updater, fantasy manager, etc.)?

1. What kind of player are you trying to build? How would you want to be used on this team?
Offensive defender who focuses on shooting a lot. Some physicality in as well with hits and perhaps couple fights during the season. Powerplay role would be nice at some point, so I can fire my glorious slappers and hopefully score some goals!

2. Describe yourself in one sentence and a GIF.
Typical Finnish male, does not like to use words or spend time with other human beings.

3. Are you okay with staying down in the SMJHL for a season or two?
Yep, was planning on staying down for 3 or 4 seasons.

4. Do you know anyone currently on the Riot?
I do, me and Mazais played together in LA for some time and I had quick trade talks with Samee in one other sim league (will at least think about answering if he calls)

5. Do you know of and/or use Discord?
Yep, I use it - maybe not most active discord user in the world, but IÂ´m there.

6. Are you good with writing articles and/or making graphics?
Not saying IÂ´m good in writing articles, but I have written few Tongue

Terrible in graphics though.

7. Are you open to advice on your build and doing whatever is best for the team?
Yes and no, open to tips/advice on what to update next - for example skating over scoring, but if itÂ´s something dramatic - need to talk about it more!
8. Would there be any team tasks that you would be interested in performing (scouting for the Riot, updater, fantasy manager, etc.)?
Maybe, but if itÂ´s something that requires a real effort put in - then maybe not.

Nope! was part of the franchise from S16 to S22 and S28 to S29

not open for advice in long term plans! but I know I will do the best way for the team!

I want to hit people and I guess get some points occasionally. But I'm open to whatever is needed.

I'm a busy grad student and married man that likes sports and decided this was a good outlet/hobby

Absolutely, it's great

I'll write the occasional article but not much for graphics

100%

Not particularly, I use up most of my time for stuff like that in the Pro Baseball Experience

I hope to be a passing playmaker that can make the players around me better. I'm open to however you want to use me.

2. Describe yourself in one sentence and a GIF.

Team first player.

3. Are you okay with staying down in the SMJHL for a season or two?

I'm open to staying in juniors as long as needed.

4. Do you know anyone currently on the Riot?

I'm still pretty new, so I don't believe so.

5. Do you know of and/or use Discord?

Yes, I use it daily for the SHL as well as my other sim league.

6. Are you good with writing articles and/or making graphics?

I dabble in both, I've written a few things to make some money.

7. Are you open to advice on your build and doing whatever is best for the team?

Of course, as I mentioned I'll take advice from those who have been around here for awhile.

At the moment I'm just trying to learn the ropes as a new player.
