I know this is coming quite late but here it is. S41 for myself and the knights was wild for many reasons.

First off, the start of the season. We went into the season with huge expectations, we wanted to repeat as four star cup champs and for many of us it was our last chance to win one as many of our players has built their TPE banks so high that their SHL teams would be nuts not to bring them up to the big league. The season for us started slow, myself in particular and at one point early on we even found ourselves out of a playoff spot. After many sims of low production and poor results, nour started making moves, small line tweaks, some small trades was all we needed to see the results pan out. We finally found our mojo and started our climb back in the standings. Personally, my new found chemistry with Paq i started putting up some numbers and climbed my way to being one of the most productive centers in the SMJHL and finished somewhere in the top 15 in league scoring. For me this was a breakout year. my previous two seasons were up and down in terms of production. However where I've always excelled is the playoffs, my production always seems to be about 1 point per game in the playoffs and to me that's exciting to see, i believe being able to clutch up is a very important part of a successful career.

On to the mid season drama.... Now I would like to say before that my intention is not to beat a dead horse here, HOWEVER, this horse is dead and very beaten, but theres money in this for me so I'm going to use this to boost my work count.

SO! basically what happened was that a few members of the knights got into it on the discord server and they said some things that were pretty horrible. Yes pancakes did lose his shit, but the others involved did not help the situation whatsoever. I'm not defending anyone in this situation because it was really shitty on all sides but pancakes is the one taking 100% of the flack for this, when there were multiple antagonists here.

With all this being said, pancakes was stripped of his captaincy and removed from the discord and i was named a new assistant captain of the knights. I was pumped, I feel like I was a leader on that team and the opportunity to be one of the captains on a dynasty of a team was too good to say no to.

On to the playoffs;
with the slow start to the year we didn't find ourselves in the best spot going into the playoffs, unlike the season before, we would have to play round 1 due to not having the bye round.
However for me personally this was awesome, it allowed me to showcase the playoff performer I am, and i did just that tallying points in 7 straight playoff games, something no player did in that years playoffs. Not only did I show my skills, but our team swept the first 2 rounds of the playoffs. The feeling was crazy, the hype around our team was insane, and at that point we knew we were for real, after going 8-0 in the playoffs we weren't thinking about winning the cup again, we already knew that was happening, we wanted to re-write the history books, the only team to go undefeated through three playoff rounds and win the cup. The 12-0 run was a legitimate possibility in our locker room. The effort nour and thunder put into this team was incredible and we had nothing but support for those 2 incredible GM's. unfortunately, the 12-0 run was dead, MTL took us to a very tough seven game series and man it was a dog fight. Back and forth, they almost made us doubt we were going to take the cup, but our guys stayed tight and we clutched up when we needed to, capturing the cup for a second consecutive season.

The Future:
For the Knights the near future is bright there are still a lot of very good young players on that team that WILL cap out and take them to new levels. In all honesty, i think the knights have a solid shot at the three-peat this season. Nour can make the moves to keep his team competitive with next to no draft selections by exploiting the other teams needs, and that exactly where he excels. Nour has always found a way to find the weak point in teams and use it to better his team, as long as Nour is at the helm of this organization the knights will be a contender. Unfortunately for them... I don't think it will be long before Nour's skill set is picked up by an SHL team. However, Thunder is a very competent GM and I believe that Nour will teach him everything he needs to know to continue this knights legacy.

Lastly, Nour I want to thank you for all the effort you've put into this site and me in my development and the best interest of the team, it wasn't always smooth sailing, but you found a way to bring us out of every situation a better team and you have truly made it fun for me to be on this site, i figured i would try it out but didn't feel like i would be sticking around long, but you mentored me all the way through my build and how to make my player as effective as possible, its been a pleasure these last few months and i hope we continue to talk even with me moving into the SHL.

To all the Knights past and present, thanks to all of you who helped me through the creating and updating process, I can say with absolute certainty that without your guys' help I wouldn't be active today, like i've said before, you have all made this site a fun experience for me the last 3 seasons, and I look forward to many more.
