I apologize for being a new guy and making suggestions before I've played any games, but I just had one idea I thought I'd share.
I could be wrong about training works, cause I still don't understand the difference between weekly training and training camp.
But this is a suggestion for weekly training.
[As I understand you can train a player once per week, in a certain training... I thought it was once a week but noticed some people posting more than once a week in some threads..
http://theshl.b1.jcink.com/index.php?showtopic=1587.. . if you're allowed to train more than once a week then this idea doesn't work]
As far as I understand the two tiers of training are...
Professional: 500,000
+ 3 to anything
World Class: 1,000,000
+ 5 to anything
With world Class, you pay 2x as much, and get 1.67x the amount of training. You have to pay a lot more, but you get skills faster. So if you can afford it it's worth it.
I was suggesting maybe adding another tier of training
Elite/Godly Class: 2,500,000
+ 7.5 to anything
It's ridiculously expensive, and only slightly better so it will only be used rarely, but it gives a new dimension to player development, something to possibly save up for, more so than just the 1 mill per week maximum.
So if you spend 2.5 mill weekly you gain 15 points, but if you spend it all at once you get half as many points 7.5 but over the course of 1 week.
What do you think?
I imagine it only be used by really really active players and at most once or twice a season.
But it gives people something higher to aim for than just 1 mill earned in a week.

You'd get maxed fast, which was the reason why we implemented the update scale anyways

What do you mean max'd like straight 99's?

Yeah, attributes would max out faster and that's what the league is trying to avoid. Before the update scale, people had 99s across the board, and that's not what we want.

Oh I see.
I thought that +3, or +5 meant.
5 more points to spend.

For example...
Professional: 500,000
+ 3 to anything
70 -> 73
But if over 80
Professional: 500,000
+ 3 to anything
80 -> 81.5

That looks correct.

I was just suggesting it, because it seemed that there was a lot more parity between top players.
Like the 20th best player and the 1st best player are pretty close, because everyone is able to afford the same training of 1 mill a week.
What if you made the price even higher.
Elite/Godly Class: 5,000,000
+ 8 to anything

lol.
It gives something that very few will be able to afford to use.
The specifics I don't know.
It's just the general idea of providing another tier for more competitive users to use.

The reason the 20th best and the 1st best player are so close is that the update-scale we are having now has only been in place for about a season. Before that, most players who had played 2 seasons in the SHL had straight 99s in all major attributes so it will take some time for players to diversify.
I personally don't think that we need another, better training, if you are using the +5s every week you can still max out after a couple of seasons. Plus, maybe you aren't aware of this yet because the season hasn't started for you yet, there are a bunch of other ways to earn points to improve your player. Training-camp gives you free training once every season, you can buy equipment and, most importantly, there a a bunch of Point Tasks (PTs) every season that give you a pretty high TPE-reward to improve your player as well.

I don't think its a good thing that it's easy to max out, nor did I want this to help make it easier to max out.
I actually feel it should be very difficult to max out and should take 7-8 seasons or more.
The point was to remove from the leagues parity, maybe to lower everything else more.

Regardless, training needs to be updated this offseason.
