We're underway with Season 45 of the SMJHL and there has been some buzz about this year's Armada team and how effective they've been on the ice in their 21 games of the season. We've decided to take a closer look at the team and figure out what composition has created such a strong resilient. Without further adieu, and in no particular order, let me introduce the S45 Anchorage Armada!

Well, there is certainly a lot of variety throughout the team. We can see that there is a nice blend of rookies (8) and veterans of the SMJHL. In terms of physical stats, the average team height measures in at 6'1", with Xena being the shortest player at 5'5", and both Thomas Speardane and Dean Colt III towering at a height of 6'6". Moving on to the weight category, the average team height weighs in at 200lbs (decimals rounded down). The lightest player on the team is Xena at 120lbs, and the heaviest player is Dean Colt III at an impressive 265lbs.

Taking a look at the countries of origin, we can see that players from USA make up the most from one country with five players. There are three Latvian players on the team, which is pretty cool to see! There are only two Canadian and two Finnish players on the team. Finally, the following countries each have a single player: Japan, Italy, France, UK, Czechoslovakia, Ireland, Hungary, Denmark, and Vatican City. Despite a large variety of languages and culture, these players have all been working together in for a common goal - becoming the best they can in the SMJHL and rising to the top of the standings.

At the time of this article, this team has worked together to become #2 overall in the SMJHL with 29 points!
