Norway is a proud member of the International Ice Hockey Federation and despite the nation’s small size and population they have remained a respectable team over their history. Norway’s greatest years came in seasons 33-36 where they won four medals straight with a solid core.

After a bit of a slide and a changing of the guard in recent years Norway is happy to announce that its core has been rebuilt and the nation’s future in the IIHF is bright. There is an extremely young crop of players that are already earning meaningful minutes and more opportunities will arise for players who want to get ice time and be competitive as more veteran players retire and move on to hockey Valhalla.

Norway is happy to announce that one such player has joined our ranks. Over the last several seasons we have had some great players leave us and many other great players rise up through their Norwegian ranks and others that traded the allegiance of their home nation to join us, Norway is thankful to each of those players.

Karlstraße Scholz is the most recent player to do so and nobody in Norway could be more thrilled at the prospect of getting a Scholz on board with the team than Tor Tuck. Karlstraße Scholz is an absolute gem in the locker room and has the heritage and pedigree to be a hall of famer. Karlstraße Scholz welcome to Norway!
