Throwing back to end of last season, I attempted to create a stat that shows how much value by weighting the stats that I feel are the most important to judging a player's value to their team. Here is last season's calculations. This year, I decided to make a slight adjustment to the calculation by separating primary and secondary assists. As, primary assists are more accurate in showing how much a player drives scoring chances and possession. Not that secondary assists aren't important as a great breakout pass could be a sole cause for a goal, per se. In general though, assists are best used when separated between primary and secondary. Here is the new formula I used:

=(((Goals * .8) + (Primary Assists * .5) + (Secondary Assists * .3) + (Shots * .1) - (PIMS * .1) + (Hits *.05) + (Shots Blocked * .1) + (Corsi For * .05) - (Corsi Against *.05)) * Minutes Per Game) / Games Played
