With the season 48 SMJHL Draft slowly creeping up, it's now time for the speculation to begin on who will go where. A lot of this focus gets placed on the talented forwards and defenders in the elite crop of prospects, however, with this mock draft, we will be exclusively focusing on what I consider the top 3 goaltenders for the draft. We have two recreates, and one fresh player new to the sim league. Each with their own skills, faults, and mindsets. Without further adieu, here is the season 48 SMJHL goalie mock draft.

3. Gritty Saosin

Gritty Saosin is a fresh recreate player with a very interesting build. His reaction time is out of this world for his age at 85 and he uses his size very well with it sitting at 77. Saosin, however, does have a lot of holes in his game. He currently sits at 50 for style control, 50 for hand speed, 65 for rebound control, and 65 for agility. He has a long ways to go to balance out his playstyle.

2. Knox Booth

Knox Booth who is a new player who plays the butterfly playstyle. He currently sits at 163 TPE, with the capabilities of jumping to 168 after he completes this weeks activity check and training which will place him a top of the goalies we are talking about today in TPE. Booth will have to improve his game by using his size more to his advantage. His rebound control, style control, hand speed, and reaction time are all sitting at a very respectable 75. Booth likes like he could be a great pick for a team looking to find a starting goalie for the future.

1. Nolan McMahon

Nolan McMahon is a recreate for Reynolds which will likely add extra value for the SMJHL general managers. He currently sits at 160 TPE and plays the hybrid style. McMahon is a very agile goalie and he is a big man who uses his size to his advantage. He is a very well rounded goalie, sitting at 70 for rebound control, style control, hand speed, and reaction time.
