Sharp for a new IIHF Home (bonus draft stats)
|
![]() Registered Posting Freak Code: 823 words, draft double media week After heavy deliberation, Bobby Sharp has decided to start looking for a new IIHF home to play with starting in next season’s tournament. Sharp has had a wonderful experience in the team USA locker room and looks back fondly at the time he has had wearing the red white and blue. Sharp’s WJC medal will continue to hang proudly in his trophy case as one of the first entries to it. Looking towards the future, Sharp wants to immediately begin the hunt for IIHF gold by being an integral part of a teams roster. And to keep this all draft related, here is a break down of this most recent SHL and SMJHL draft picks by IIHF country. For this I looked at the country listed in the player page for most players, so this doesn’t include any changes not reflected there, but I think still sort of illustrates ultimately why there may need to be some kind of change to address the bloated rosters of a couple teams. I do believe without either incentive to join other countries or a required 2 team roster for these countries with bloated rosters, IIHF engagement is going to continue to not be as good as it could be. (another reminder that I got this data from player pages so there may be a few people miscategorized) ![]() Trading Card Admins S45 Challenge Cup Champion |
