Coach Posting Freak St. Louis Scarecrows Team Award Ceremony
2000 words - ready for grade Welcome to the St Louis Scarecrows' ???rd Seasonal Team Awards Scare-amony! The name change is back and here to say after the love it received last season. No other team can have a Scare-amony like the Crows can so lets all get together, make some Scarecrow noises, and celebrate Evan winning every award possible both here and in the S49 SMJHL Awards Show! Jokes aside, the Crows have lost some serious pieces this year thanks to the dirty call-ups of the SHL, so first off, as the captain of this year's version of St. Louis, I'd like to thank Nicolaj Muller @esilverm , Mika Kandinsky @mika_kandinksy , Noah Brusky @BrewskyBoy , and Lyle Odelein III @Huck24 , for their vital contributions to past St. Louis seasons. Each of these players have had some historic achievements while playing for St. Louis, and are expected to play major roles for their SHL teams. Buffalo, Toronto, Texas, and NOLA will all gain a great locker room presence and a player able to help them out while continuing their ascent to superstardom. To conclude their careers with St. Louis, here are some of these players notable achievements: Nicolaj Muller
Nicolaj has had a legendary career as a member of St. Louis, we were unfortunately unable to send him off the way he deserved, which woulda been with another title. Nico added some more league silverware this season, winning the scoring race again, becoming the first back to back Ideen Fallah winner, and winning the Raymond Lindsay. Will we see Nico add more team silverware to his cabinet? Probably! Perhaps we will also see one of the Awards be renamed after Nicolaj. He arguably deserves it after putting together one of the best Scarecrow careers of all time. Hopefully see you in the big leagues one day my friend, good luck. Quote:Team Accomplishments Quote:Personal Accomplishments - League Awards Quote:Personal Accomplishments - Team Awards Mika Kandinsky
Another Scarecrow great, Mika Kandinsky, was also called up at the end of the season to Toronto, where he'll be playing with former SHL MVP Mikhail Loktionov on the North Stars top line - is Mika the betting favourite for rookie of the year? Perhaps. Mika was a stud down in the J's, helping out newbies whenever he could while proudly being an Assistant Alternate Captain. He has even been given the A this year in Toronto, unheard of for a rookie. Mika, we expect great things to you. mika also finishes his Crow career with a long list of accomplishments, and although he was snubbed for the best two-way forward last season, the Awards Committee redeemed themselves this year. In all, Mika finishes his career with the following; Quote:Team Accomplishments Quote:Personal Accomplishments - League Awards Quote:Personal Accomplishments - Team Awards Noah Brusky
Noah Brusky joined the Crows prior to S48, meaning he was a second year player this past season. Like Mika, Noah joined after the Crows cemented themselves at the top of the SMJHL totem pole. Noah was unfortunate to have joined the Crows when he did, as Mika, Nicolaj, and Lyle were named as captains. This didn't stop Noah from being a major contributor both on and off the ice, as well as on the site and in the locker room. Noah has gone from HO intern to HO member in the brief time he's been a player, and although he wasn't given a leadership position, was a leader in the locker room. Noah doesn't have the extensive resume as the other ones, as he was unexpectedly called up to Texas as only a second year player, leaving a gaping hole in the Crows defence. Noah would have likely been named Captain had he stayed down, and his two-way play and physical presence will be sorely missed. Quote:Team Accomplishments Quote:Personal Accomplishments - League Awards Quote:Personal Accomplishments - Team Awards Lyle Odelein III
It was an honour to be in the same locker room as the big Huckster, as he is a super friendly locker room presence, was happy to help the rookies, and was just an all around great guy. Lyle played some shutdown minutes, helping mentor Noah and allow him to break into the SMJHL. Lyle is off to NOLA to join a bunch of other Crow alum, such as Slasha, Blast, and more. He has continued to be a great locker room guy in STL and I'm sure is a positive influence in the NOLA LR, and will be expected to do big things in NOLA. The youngest Odelein has been a huge winner wherever he's went, and although he may not put up the best individual stats, you know he'll always contribute meaningfully to the team. Quote:Team Accomplishments Quote:Personal Accomplishments - League Awards Quote:Personal Accomplishments - Team Awards Thank you fellas for your Crow contributions, now on to the team awards! Good luck to all the gang, lets get started! Positional Awards
Bradley Wingels Award for Best Forward This award goes to the forward on the team who gets the most points on the season.
Surprise, surprise, anyone would know this if they look at the stats. Congrats to....... Nicolaj Muller!!! @esilverm
Marian Potoczny Award for Best Two-Way Forward[/align]
This award goes to the team's best two-way forward (obviously). For this season, this award goes to notable discord participant, great assistant captain, and first line forward.... A man who will be playing a huge role in the SHL... Mika Kandinsky!!! @Mika_Kandinsky Ondrej Ravchitkov Award for Best Defenseman This award goes to the defenseman on the team who gets the most points on the season. This season, this award goes to a guy who drinks his mojitos made with his first name instead of mint... A man who i think is IA? Who knows. With that in mind, congrats to.... Basil Magnicotta!!! @Rancidbudgie This Scare-amony is eerily similar to last season's - we have repeat winners for each award so far. Jermaine Tennyson Award for Best Goaltender This award goes to the goalie on the team who has the best performance throughout the season. Putting the team on his back on some games, getting bailed out in others... With Sorokin no longer staking a claim to this award, we have the first different award winner compared to last year... This season the award goes to a man who went IA quite early, a man not even on the crows anymore, a man who was a rookie putting in work.... congrats to... Shiqa Vitalievich ® Activity Awards Michael Haaan Award for Most Dedicated This award goes to the player on the team that the GMs thought was the most dedicated on all the team. This season the award goes to somebody who is always there for a young Crow when he needs help and is an all around great discord dude (who knows about irl). That person is... Noah Brusky! @BrewskyBoy Luke Riggs Award for Most Locker Room Activity This award goes to the player on the team that the GMs saw was the most active in the locker room. This season the award goes to a really awesome guy who hopefully knows how to chug a beer more like Baker Mayfield and Matt Stafford and less like Aaron Rodgers, a character who will be relied upon as a key Crow for the foreseeable future... Mika Kandinsky!!! @Mika_Kandinsky Awards Of Excellence Kanye Summers Award for Regular Season MVP This award goes to the player on the team that the GMs felt was the most valuable player throughout the regular season. Honestly, I'd be a little shocked if no one was able to guess this one. Yep, this award goes to... Nicolaj Muller!!! @esilverm Jarkko Kallestrom Award for Playoff MVP This award goes to the player on the team that the GMs felt was the most valuable player throughout the playoffs. Apparently, even after a first round playoff loss, we have to give out this award. This award goes to a person who is in a leadership position with the crows, and so should really should know how to share all of these awards he's collecting. The person receiving the Jarkko Kallestrom Award for Playoff MVP is none other than... Nicolaj Muller!!! @esilverm Vladmir Bodnar Award for Best Rookie This award goes to the player on the team that the GMs felt was best rookie throughout the entire season This season the award goes to a rookie who's probably watching the Leafs right now, but is always able to help. and does a lot for the team.. The receiver of this award is.... Yamamoto Mitsuharu !!! @TML99 Tigole Dizzy Augustus Award of Excellence This award goes to the player on the team that the GMs felt was the best?? at doing something?? or anything???. I got no idea what this award is for I feel like everything else has been covered but hey, somebody's gotta receive this award. This season the award goes to one of the Crows who has been a huuuuuuuge contributor in the league and in the team setting, will be a massive piece in helping their team get out of its long lasting rebuild stage, and has been there for all the Crows... This year's Tigole Dizzy Augustus Award of Excellence for being the prototypical, ultimate Crow is.... Noah BruskyIII!!! @BrewskyBoy And with the most prestigious award given out, congrats to all the Crows who don't know how to share!
