Hello all! Dom Alessandrini here, the Italian Stallion. I've introduced myself already in two prior media pieces, but now I'd like to let the crowd do the talking.
Read up about me here: https://simulationhockey.com/showthread.php?tid=105823 https://simulationhockey.com/showthread.php?tid=105855 Now, let's get right into it. If you have any questions, ask away! If you don't have questions, ask away anyway! Would love to hear your thoughts about anything, or love to see you force out my thoughts on anything!

What's been your favourite part of the league since coming back?
What type of player are you hoping to build? Any similar NHL comparables?

When I first joined, I remember the league being much much smaller. The crazy thing is that this was only about 12 seasons ago. Since then, this league has become SOOOO much bigger on almost every single level. TPE-based leagues are growing and growing, and I can't wait to once again be part of such an incredible community. I loved my time as a Halifax Raider, and I can't wait to see where I end up in the upcoming SMJHL draft. I'm not a huge NHL buff so I don't have much of a good comparison. The crux of Dom is that he is a player with a ridiculously high Hockey IQ. His fundamentals are rough but if there's anything he learned growing up playing hockey in Italy off all places its how to be sneaky sneaky sneaky against your enemies. Just like any good Italian, Dom is a team-first player, so while he'll certainly go for that slapshot if given a good opportunity, he cares far more about being the smartest guy on the ice. In his storyline, Kyle Corbett (the player) becomes Dom's personal assistant and helps to teach him the fundamentals, but like Dom the player and the person, Dom feels like he is far more intelligent than Kyle at every turn, despite Kyle's best efforts. Expect to see some outrageous Screen-setting and Offensive Read ratings from Dom. Hope that answered your questions well! |
