*If you are new to my Space Jam series here is how it's working this time: I took all the players from the most recent SMJHL draft and put them into the NHL. There is now a tournament going on where they are facing off against each other. There is not enough players in an SMJHL draft to fill out a full 6 team league so there is extra players that are NHLers to fill out the spots.

The SMJHL players are not using their real stats, instead they are paired with an NHL star and given their stats. What NHL star they are paired with depends on their draft number. If you were drafted higher you get a better NHL player to play as.*

*This is sim 1, there will be 5 tournament sims in total and then the playoffs. Tournament will not be dragged out very long I will wrap it up quickly*

So last time around our draft class was just waiting to be drafted when they stumbled across advanced technology allowing them to travel to different dimensions. Not only that but they are able to "Space Jam" these earthlings using the technology and steal their powers. They used this technology to enter a magical 3D realm called Earth where they play hockey as well. Except there it's not text based like in our universe. They are fully graphics based in real life...it's hard for our 2D minds to grasp it until you see it. The league is called the NHL and it's filled with beautiful stars like Connor McDavid and Milan Lucic.

Our draft class decided to "Space Jam" these NHL stars and steals their powers. The NHL thought all it's players were just sick from a horrible flu strain. They began looking for replacement players and held some tryouts. That's when the SMJHL draftees showed up and dazzled the crowds with their stolen powers. The league hired them all and whatever NHLers were not sick and wanted to play joined the new league as well. It was a lot of fun but that was done prior to the draft based off of rankings I made up myself based on when the user last logged on.

I am back for another Space Jam but this time it's for the S54 SMJHL Draftees who were actually selected. They have traveled to another dimension with the same SHL reality and have done the same bullshit to trick the league into letting them in. This reality is low on players to it's only going to be a 6 team league. The NHL has decided do to this mystery flu to return back to the Original 6. Some healthy NHL players will join our SMJHL drafted stars to fill out the rosters.

Not only that but as we have a real draft order now from the great SMJHL draft, we will use that order to select our NHL players. Example: If you were the first Center selected in the SMJHL draft you will be the first Center selected in the NHL draft. The draft order will change around because the NHL draft is starting with an empty roster and will draft by positional need. Example: Cody Spinka was the first Center picked in the SMJHL draft. He was selected 15th overall by the St. Louis Scarecrows. So he will be the first NHL Center selected in the draft. Which just happens to be Connor McDavid. He went 1st overall in the NHL Draft. So you can see the draft order has changed a bit.

This will be a 50 game season and I will sim 1 calendar month at a time. I will post each month separately and then the playoffs will come after that. So tonight I have simmed just the first month of October. Let's take a look at the draft, the teams, and how the first month of action has gone!
