It's pretty straight forward why you should draft Tanjiro. First off he is best boi in demon slayer.
Secondly, He is here to score goals. I know that he is a defenseman but that has never stopped some of the great SHL players from lighting the lamp. Lets look at his beginning build first: Offensive Ratings Screening: 5 Getting Open: 10 Passing: 10 Puckhandling: 10 Shooting Accuracy: 10 Shooting Range: 10 Offensive Read: 10 Defensive Ratings Checking: 7 Hitting: 7 Positioning: 6 Stickchecking: 6 Shot Blocking: 5 Faceoffs: 5 Defensive Read: 10 Physical Ratings Acceleration: 11 Agility: 11 Balance: 10 Speed: 10 Stamina: 13 Strength: 7 Fighting: 5 First offensively. He is a straight 10 across the board! (Haha, I'm funny clearly). But in all seriousness, he has shown that he is very offensive minded with getting open, you can't move the puck out of your zone without getting open. He's able to pass and push the puck forward to help break out out of the zone. He's also able to handle the puck as well as have good range for a defenseman as well as accuracy when putting the puck on net. Defensively currently is where he is not as strong, but is committed to improving. Coming in offensively strong was his plan all along. That way he can catch up on defense where most defenseman have to do the opposite. While he wants to be better with hitting and checking he wants to stay out of the box. That means that for him positioning will probably be important to be able to create takeaways and start the break. This leads to his mental game with offensive and defensive reading ability. When he signed with Agent Andy (formerly Andybj) Andy prides his clients in being aware on the Ice. After his first client Ratzon was not as aware on the ice he swore that he would not sign another awareness based player. Code: For new players Defense in STHS would function as awareness to some extent for players and Ratzon had a weakness in defense Because Caelum was such a good example, agent Andy set up training sessions as well as evaluation with his retired client Noctis Caelum. Tanjiro showed immediate high awareness on the ice in all zones although that may come from high sense of smell. With that his mental game was very good and that long term he should improve and be very responsible player in all zones although skill wise he may be a bit behind early on. In terms of athleticism, is also where Tanjiro shines. Having been trained to slay demons, he already has a step up on the competition in terms of athleticism with stats all over 10 other than strength which he is working on by cutting off more demons heads. The biggest question that was asked of Tonjiro was why did he focus on stanima early? His response was rather straight forward, "I am in this for the long hall he started," he started, "when you get called up to the pros, the game is longer and your body really needs more stanima. I know earlier on that I can breeze by stamina in order to play long minutes, but I'd rather be preared to log more minutes when I get to make the jump to the big leagues." We reached out to agent Andy for his thoughts on his new client: "Tanjiro has high potential to be a star in this league. He wants to score goals and in hockey, the team that scores more goals wins. He has great stick skills and will be able to help out any junior team while he is developing. As he moves up into the pros I believe that even if he has played winger in juniors he will be able to slide into his natural spot on defense and contribute offensively early on. I believe that as he matures he will be a three zone defense and be able to contribute during even strength as well as on the power play and on the penalty kill." "I further want to go and discuss his draft possibility. I believe that every team is an opportunity for him to go to. We have heard from many GMs as well as interacted with GMs who were working with my prior clients. I believe that each team has taken my client into account as well as how I have always handled myself over the years. I have negotiated with valor and integrity both for my clients and the teams that he has been on." We asked him if there was any team that has committed to taking his player: "Currently we have no commitment for where my client is going as there are so many things up in the air. I have heard the rumors for the beginning of the first round but I believe that most teams draft boards change by the hour. Luckily, while I have had SHL GM experience I have never gotten the joy but also stress of being a junior GM. While as a SHL GM you have a few months to evaluate new players as they are working their way up in the system. But as a junior GM it goes from a matter of months to a matter of days. I believe this crop of GM's is doing an excellent job with both taking their time and making sure that each player is the right fit for their team. I would be lying if I said that my client does not want to be a first rounder. For anyone whether it is your first client, or in my case your fourth, each draft is special, every time you get picked your value as an agent and your players value get weighed. Are you good enough to be at the top? Are you an unknown with a lot to prove? I've been gone for a bit but I believe me and my client are ready to make a splash and show the league that Tanjiro will be better than Caelum and the true offensive presence that he always wanted to be" Code: 1065 words double draft media |
