Good afternoon, Star Gang. it is I, your Keyboard Warrior, here to bring you the day that was in the Simulation Hockey League. Today the North Stars get to battle with the angry boys over in Manhattan. Two games of sweaty men running into each other over and over until they are too tired to be angry.
So far this season, the North Stars have beaten Manhattan four to one and three to four, but the angry boys took this contest four to one, with the only goal for the North Stars coming from First-Name Last-Name. Shots were thirty-four to twenty-eight in favor of the North Stars who were outhit twenty-nine to six. The boys are going to need ice bags that is for sure. Adam Barron had the only assist for the North Stars. Luffy Richard had two shots, two blocked shots, was a minus-one, and took another penalty. Maybe he is the angry boy in all of this. Oh and a giveaway. The next game was a bounce back performance that the Star Gang can be proud of as the North Stars took the game five to three. The Toronto North Stars out shot Manhattan forty-nine to twenty-eight, but were again out hit eleven to sixteen. Taylor Johansson scored twice, while Ruslan Zaporozhets, Bobby Lane, and Ryu Jones each had a goal apiece. Adam Barron and First-Name Last-Name had two apples, and Ursin Zimmerman, Ruslan Zaporozhets, Taylor Johansson, and Danny Marston also chipped in with apples. Luffy Richard was a neutral plus-minus, three shots on goal, two blocked shots, and a hit so he had a good physical performance. The North Stars are missing those depth points from him. Two out of four points is not a bad sim, but the other teams in the East are still nipping at the heels of the North Stars. There are some big games coming up, and the excitement around this team is still building. (340 words) Until next time, Shine On! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
