Good evening, Star Gang. It is I, your Keyboard Warrior, here to bring you the day that was in the Simulation Hockey League. There are two games set for today's sim. In the first game, the hated team from Buffalo comes to our beautiful Toronto. In the second, the Atlanta Inferno are set to try and light a fire in snowy Toronto, but to that I say, Nay!.
The first game saw our beloved North Stars defeat those tyrants from New York who have sought to trample our dreams for too long! And now, the North Stars have a two game winning streak over the Stampede, winning four to one. Buffalo out shot the North Stars thirty-six to thirty-three, and out hit them twenty-five to twenty. No matter, because the final score is all that matters. Take that, Simulation, I know you've been fudging some of our games to dampen our spirits, but we cannot be stopped! The Atlanta Inferno found their fire doused by a vengeful Toronto squad set on avenging yesterday's abysmal sim as they put a nickle on the board, beating Atlanta five to two. Shots were thirty-six to thirty-nine in favor of the North Stars, while hits were in favor of the Inferno twenty-two to ten. This was a great comeback sim for the boys who are trying to claw their way back to the top of the league. They are four points behind Hamilton, with plenty of hockey still to play. On that note, I asked my roommate why his scoring is lower then my credit score. He responded in a very mature and adult manor by throwing his bowl of ramen in my lap. It burned, not unlike the North Star's desire to win a cup. Except this had no pay off because he went into room after dumping his dinner on me and has not stopped crying since. Until next time, Shine On!. (330 words) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
