Deep Dive
Let's dive into the Great Falls Grizzlies Led by Captain Grogu Mandosson. Leaving after this season to be with his SHL team Calgary he has provided a well needed run for the team in Great Falls. Running with 5 Goals and 17 Assists for 22 Points. He has been one of the best defensive forwards in the league providing 45 blocked shots and 30 hits. He is doing the dirty work. Assistant Captain Bjorn Viggosson another player leaving soon to move up to the next level. Viggosson has become one of many solid players putting in 10 Goals 11 Assists for 21 points. Also provides the grit with 60 hits this season he is a key piece of this roster. Assistant Captain Alexej Komarek being one of the most outstanding playmaking forwards in the league with 12 goals and 29 assists for 41 points. He solidifies the top of the lineup as a star player for the franchise. Soon losing him as well the solid roster is soon losing it's veteran presence. With IFAs Ragnar Ragnarsson, Ryan Gardner, Alfred Yankovic, and Steven Cox pulling some good depth for the roster. They have done very well in giving some good depth for a lineup woh has done very solid. Defenseman Clem Fandango, and Spicy MacHaggis have shown signs of being solid defenseman in the near future, but have a few more years left of development before they see the SHL ice. Combined offensive production of 34 points 140 blocked shots and 139 Hits they are pushing to be some of the best defenseman on the SHL market for a decade. Forwards Konstantin Selich, Gabe-Gooney-Waters Harrak, Giannis Kroustis, Frederico von Schnicktenburg, Lewis Hamilonisblessed, and Ezra Wong have all done solid over the year running with points between 20 and 40 points each. Most have a couple years more to develop but some of have shown the potential to dominate in a SHL role such as Selic, Schnicktenburg, and Kroustis. The depth of the GFG roster down the forward core has been solid enough to push for a playoff spot, but could be pushing for a division title as well. Depth Defenseman Vadim Askerov, Brent Ashe III while both young have never faultered under the bright lights both shining with double digits in points have shown they have the offensive potential to be making some of the best offensive cores in SHL history. With showing signs of being very reliable in the defensive end as well. It is encouraging to see respectable defenseman at such a young age. Good both be making the jump sooner rather than later. Late Season Signees Shylo Moxii, and Ambrosia Snow showing signs of life before their draft Shylo showing signs of 2-way blooming with 2 points in 12 games but 6 blocked shows along with a couple hits in sheltered 5 mins TOI/G. Ambrosia Snow in the first 2 games of his career he has an assist with a hit showing promising signs of being a great player in the SHL, but again sheltered 5 mins TOI/G. Goalies Brick Wall and Hank Stopper both showing signs of being amazing in the SHL. Brick Wall while stands on his head does have his moments of weakness which does reflect his .892% and 2.77 GAA. Hank Stopper with a .920% 2.01 GAA as shown how much he could really do, and has a lot of potential to develop into a All-Star Caliber goalie with some starter time in SMJHL. 592 Words t
