Good afternoon SHL,
We're pleased to announce that after an internal vote, the Winnipeg Aurora have selected our on-ice leadership team for this season. I'd like to thank @
sulovilen for his assistance with the graphic in today's announcement.
Our first alternate captain is Stan Din'desque. @
Inf1d3l has been a great ambassador of the Aurora since joining the team. Everyone knows Inf1, everyone loves Inf1. There's a reason he was selected for this position.
Our second alternate captain is Ryuuji Kawashima. @
Raven joined the Aurora in the same offseason as Stan Din'desque, and is our top line center for the foreseeable future as Winnipeg forges forth as a Challenge Cup contender in the future. I don't think I've ever heard Raven say a single rude thing to someone, other than myself.
Our captain is none other than Gonzo Gobbledygook. @
tweedledunn was part of previous administration's core that has remained with my squad and bought into our long-term vision. He's been one of our leaders since I started with the team here in Winnipeg, and I am happy to see him recognized by his peers as a leader.
