Levin, comes in at 5’10” a right winger that shoots left, with good overall offensive and defensive skills. Based on his overall stats, he will be good with the puck on his stick, and solid at shooting and moving it. But he may excel in juniors for his defensive play. He could easily slide into a teams PK potentially their top line. I think Levin will be a very useful addition to any team.

Byson another big defender, in total weight not as much height, is as tough as nails. He likes to fight and goes onto the ice looking for his next victim. He has a lot of power behind those fists tipping the scales at 220 lbs on a 6’2” frame. He is also defensively inclined and will be laying out big hits when the opposition is not paying enough attention.

Another right winger that shoots left. Nate is Offensively gifted passer. He will not score very often but he will be the lynch pin to a team’s offense. He is an amazing skater and will carry the puck 200 ft by himself as he dances around opposing players with ease. Nate could line up early in his career on a team’s power play if they have scorers.

Oliver our first Center, is another solid two-way player. He does not excel in either aspect of the game, offense or defense, he is just good at both. Overall he has great stats and could become a great player. As he doesn’t excel in anyone aspect of the game, I see him contributing as a support player to start, but he should develop into a top 2 center used in all circumstances.

Finn is another Right Winger, who is an offensively focused player. He really can do it all in the opponent’s zone, shoot, pass, and dance around with the puck on his stick. He will be a threat whenever he is on the ice. Defensively he is not a liability, but his game will rely on putting the puck in the net to get ice time.

Merle is a two way defender. Merle’s is gifted in his own zone with his stick work and positioning making it difficult for opponents to get by or make a play, there is no easy way to the net with Merle on the ice. In the offensive zone, Merle has a howitzer of a shot, can move the puck on their own, and knows when to move up from the line to take that shot.

Net man is a positioning king, he knows the right place to be and takes away angles from opposing scorers. Great rebound control and a good poke check keeps the puck away from the front of the net making it difficult for opposing teams to get an easy garbage goal. Nate Gray, aka the X-man, is specialized in goal scoring. Put him on the ice for power plays and he will nearly guarantee a goal. He is a shooting machine with an amazing range firing the puck from almost anywhere. However if he is on the ice when the opponents are in his zone he is a liability like few others. Expect a lot of goals when the X-man is on the ice.

Royal Pizza, is a big boy, a very big boy, tipping the scales at 295 lbs! That being said he can skate all day with great stamina so do not let that weight fool you. Another Left wing star in the making Drew is a two way threat, that is a little better at offense then defense. With his offense he is a better goal scorer then setup man. On defense he sees plays well and uses his stick to force a loose puck. I see Drew starting on a team’s lower lines, and maybe some power play/penalty kill time. Eventually working his way into a more prominent role.

Mick is a bit of an enigma. He is a defensive machine. Great at everything to keep the puck out of his own net. He checks and doing so hits hard. He is good a blocking shot, and his stick work is one of the best in this draft class. When the puck is in the offensive zone, he likes to move to the front of the net using his 287 lbs(!?) body to block the goalie’s sight, but nearly refuses to do anything else in the offensive zone, a defender that screens opposing goalies, bold.

Adelbert, is one of the best looking two way forwards in the draft class, in my personal opinion. He has a solid overall handle on the game in all three zones. I am not sure what else to say about him, offensively he does it all, passes, shoots, skates with the puck. Defensively he does it all, checks, stick work, moves into the lanes, and can block shots. Going to be an all-star!

Jay another taller defender 6’5” is going He is a little more offensively gifted defender and less of a two-way threat. Don’t get me wrong he is not a slouch in the defensive zone. But his bread and butter really come from his offensive play. I see him as a potential top 4 defender playing on the powerplay for most teams.

We have another Left Winger, another offensively driven player. Mercedes is going to be all over the score board, she can pass, shoot, and knows how to carry the puck. However, she suffers on the defensive side of the game. Opponents will have a heyday if the puck is in her zone. She is a specialist that will see a lot of powerplay time to start with.

Dominic looks to be a pretty solid two way build, average but not spectacular in anything at this point in his hockey career. Which means you can rely on Dominic in almost all situations to help a team with his level play, but you can’t expect him to be a Hail Mary type desperate situation last minute goal when the game is on the line.

Our first truly gifted offensive defenseman, Bellamy will be playing top power play minutes, quarterbacking the back end. That said, Bellamy is a bit of a liability at this time with his overall defensive play. So big points on the power play with lower ice time with spot play on the 3rd pairing could be expected with Bellamy.

Micheal is looking like a an offensively blessed two-way forward. He does have some good defensive habits in his game, as he positions his self well and moves his stick around knock the puck loose. As good as he is defensively, he is a very talented forward in the offensive zone. He skates well, shoots well, and he is an expert setup man with a fantastic tape to tape pass.

Thomas is another solid two way forward and a face off artist to boot. He can shoot the puck well but is more adept at setting up other forwards. While he is not the best forward in his own zone, he is talented enough at a total defensive game that he keeps opposing forwards honest as they cannot just blast by him as they make their way to the net.

Matt is a fiery right winger. He is offensively gifted, one of the best playmakers in this draft. He still can shoot which is important. He is ok in his own zone. The most interesting aspect of this young player, he is only 5’9” and 200 lbs, one of the smaller players in the draft class. Despite his smaller stature he is not afraid to drop the gloves and fight.

Shootin, is not doing that, he is a pass first defensively gifted forward. Shootin is going to be used in all defensive zone face offs and when they absolutely need to win one, as he is the best at faceoffs in the rookie class. He might be an interesting case of partnering him with truly offensively gifted wingers as he is accountable, and the wingers can cut loose without worrying about their own zone.

Ally looks to be the first flopper in this class. She is going to be positional sound, taking away angles from opposing forwards, but she is going to sprawl across the net, flipping around causing headaches for forwards with her unorthodox style of goaltending.
