Last season was filled with hope and excitement, but also some growing pains as the team finished 3rd in its group and was knocked out in the quarter finals. Before we get to this years squad for Team Rhine, we would like to thank the players who have represented Rhine proudly and will be moving on with their careers and hopefully continuing to play in the IIHF. The newly formed federation was something all the players had to adjust to, and although being thrown together for just one tournament, these players proved that no matter the flag or federation on the front of the jersey, they would play their hardest.
