Ivan Lacksamus is the fastest player to reach 1000 points. Also someone I drafted in the S63 draft at 11th OA. I vividly remember sitting there in voice call with Honkers, then PHI co-gm just said fuck it why not draft him. As Ivan posted media saying that he might not be earning max TPE. However with messaging thief himself, he said a different story. So I just said fuck it and drafted him. Man what a steal of the draft.

He came up in the perfect era of New England. He started his career right during the FHM8 came out. So we can track every single game of his career. He peaked during New England’s height of power. Winning multiple MVP’s, and accomplishments. Winning 2 Cups, 2 MVP’s, multiple Dar nominations as well. He holds the record for most points ever in a single season. He is in the top 5 for most playoff points in a single season. He is now in the 1000 point club as well.

To start things off in his career New England was bad in S66 & S67. He started off his career however, with 20+ minutes a night.

S66 & S67 he only had 54 and 49 points that season.

Then, once New England started doing well is when he popped off. S68 he first went above a PPG. Scoring 71 points that season. S69 would be his final season ont being in PP1. Yet he scored high again, with 83 points. S70 is when Thief first teased with 100 points. Scoring 25 goals and 73 assists for 98 points!

S71 was the start of his elite pace. S71 he scored 112 points. S72 he scored 131 points. S73 was 142 points! Going 65 goals and 77 assists for 142 points. Still the highest points in a single season. Then S74 he scored 109 points. Ending a 4 season run of 100+ points. S75 he scored 96. Then S76 he scored 76. His lowest total since S68. Then now in S77, as he is entering deeper into regression, has scored 50 points in 51 games so far. Now well deep into regression Thief is now at 1071 points in 777 games.

In the playoffs he also has amazing series of runs. He had 214 career points in 152 games in the playoffs. Within that he had 6 amazing seasons in that time span. S69 is when he broke out first. Scoring 21 points in 14 games played. In S70, he scored 30 points in 28 games played where he won the Challenge Cup. S72 he popped off again scoring 36 points in 21 games played. S73 he had his best points / gp in his career. With 33 points in 17 games played.

In S74 is when we won the cup again. Scoring 32 points in 24 games that season. Then in S75 he had one of the best playoff runs ever. In 23 games played, he scored 40 points.

Hopefully as Thief ages gracefully, he continues the great performances. And becomes one of the best players to ever play in the SHL
