As my first regular season comes to a close, I want to look back on my time in the SMJHL/SHL and reflect on where we go from here.

My first reflection is that I did not do as much media as I originally planned. That's on me. I do have a procrastination issue. I was planning on starting a support group for Procrastinator's Anonymous, but I just never got around to it. Maybe next week....

I did fill out the tasks and kept up with my updates. Just need a couple more point in Defensive Read to complete the goals Burb gave me. He is a great GM, and I am very happy to have him to start off with in the J.

We fell off kind of hard during the latter weeks of the season. At one point we had a seven-game losing streak that really doomed our playoff seeding. But we concluded the season with a four-game winning streak, so that's a good way to head into the playoffs. Two of those wins were against Yukon, who we face in the first round.

I still have my feud with @kahri going. One of my favorite people to annoy. I even ran into her in the ISFL. She will probably destroy everyone's mock draft, again, just to punish me.

I have not taken a job in SHL at this time. I would consider it, perhaps, in the future. It has to be something simple. KISS. Keep It Simple, Stupid. Especially, when it comes to using things like graphics or Google Documents. I started to take the Graphics Class but right away I could tell I was way in over my head and gave that spot to someone else who could actually benefit from it. Maybe a couple seasons from now, I might take on a role as a Rookie Mentor or something. "This is what not to do as a rookie in the SMJHL."

Dirty Harry once said, "Man's got to know his limitations."

I am looking forwards to, of course, the upcoming draft for the SHL and seeing who I haven't annoyed with my KitKat Bar Abuse. True story: There is a woman at the local grocery store who won't sell me KitKat bars because I do that just to annoy her.

Yes, I can be a menace in real life too.

I might make this a Weekly Thing, again, if I get off my lazy keister and just write.
