Texas - The Texas Renegades fell out of playoffs and had to decide right away on their plans. While they were a little back and forth, a path was carved and eventually Konig Wolf was package out in a deal to the Baltimore Platoon (damn, I wanted to say WKP so bad). However, his journey to Baltimore was incredibly short-lived. Rumours reported that while Baltimore management and some were excited about the new deal, some were not. Some members of the organization strongly opposed acquiring the new player, mentioning past issues with the agency. This led to the two teams trying to work out a very friendly exchange, only to be declined by Head Office staff. This dropped Konig Wolf into Free Agency. A few hours after all this happened, we managed to get a statement from them.
"Firstly, I'd like to thank Texas for all they've given in the last few seasons. Both New Orleans and Texas had been incredible places to play in the SHL. GMs are incredible. @CapnCooper is a top-tier GM. The work they put in is awesome to see, and they create a very fun environment. Appreciate you giving me a chance. I had fun on the team, and it's too bad we couldn't keep running it back.
@Wally from Baltimore. Appreciate you wanting to add me to the team. I was pretty excited when I heard the rumblings and then was disappointed and a little sad by the fact that the ship turned back. Not only that, but it sank on the way back. I'm unsure who had the issues. I don't recognize many on the team. Not even sure what it was about. I'm quiet on the SHL. It's an amazing league. It's fun. It's well run (or else it wouldn't still be here). I have no issues with anyone on here. I just want what's best for the SHL and to keep enjoying the fun experience it offers. Sorry that the deal got messed up for you. Like I said, I appreciate you and each time we cross paths in the SHL.
Now that I am a Free agent, I hope I get some messages and the opportunity to talk to some GMs and teams. Maybe this could lead to a fun and new experience I haven't gotten yet in my sim league career. I've always been very loyal to my teams. Talk to NOLA and TEX. I think the raves and reviews will be positive and that the chatter that says nay should be discontinued.
