[2x Team Spotlight] 3. Minnesota Monarchs ELO + Between Teams Ranking
#1

Welcome to part 3 of the team of the highlight period (team of the week did sound nicer, although I am so happy we now have a period with 3 teams). The Minnesota Monarchs have been here since the start of the index.

First off for the rules, you can see those in the Seattle Argonauts, that one and all other previous ones (which currently does not exist yet), can be found at the bottom of this article.

Let’s first look at the general stats for the Minnesota Monarchs, in total the Monarchs have played 2124, of which they won 709, and managed to draw in normal time before losing in 119 of them. Scoring 6040 goals, while conceding 8886. On average this means they scored 2.84 goals which is the least of the 3 teams done so far, and conceded 4.18 which puts them between the Argonauts and Patriotes. Their average points however puts them in 3rd place (of the 3) with 0.72 average points per game.

Now onto the charts of the teams between comparison. We see that both the Monarch, and Patriotes got the Stampede in 14, and also both got the New Orleans specters in 6th. While both the Monarchs, and the Argonauts got the Montreal patriotes as their 3rd best team.

Now onto the ELO Ranking, their first season we kept track off, the Minnesota Monarchs fell from the base of 1200 to 1007.02. This fall went on until S55 with 894.86 ELO. After that a slow mostly upward trajectory was going on, eventually ending up at 1118.52 in S61, before quite a big fall to 730.84 in S65 staying on this 700-800 TPE until S67, before starting an increase again, ending up with 1 high of 1114.73 ELO in S71, and even 1138.22 in S73. Eventually their highest rank was 1336.99 in S77, before falling down to 813.73 right now in S81.

For the top ELO we see that the Minnesota Monarch had the 3rd highest peak, being 90ish ELO below the Montreal Patriotes.
