Alright guys, its been an issue that was brought up about articles and I completely agree. Having experienced it first hand as a junior, its just too easy to make money and have a monstrous bank account while not doing a lot of work. I'm not saying what you guys do in articles is easy cause trust me its not, I know its tough to write articles, but this league shouldn't be really easy. This way you have to write around 2k words to make one mil which is two weeks of training.

So my proposed solution is:

Previous Payment:
50k per 100 words for first 500 words
100k per 100 words after first 500 words

Proposed Payment:
50k per 100 words, all article.



I've gotten the okay from the commish, but wanna know how this will be received? Thoughts? Feel free to leave a comment.

If this is instituted I probably will award the guys with articles that are thorough and enjoyable with a bonus and won't give people money for crap.

i have written a 4k+ word article and some 3k+ word articles and to get payed only 1.5/2mil for articles that big makes it not worth it

i know for sure if the media payment is changed i wont be writing another article over 2k words because it wont be worth my time

and with this and all the complaining over lowering the amount of TPE handed out im seriously considering leaving this league

Yeah what Taron said, I don't like it but I'm not going to leave this league over some little shit like that and you shouldn't either, I wouldn't put in alll the work you and I have just to quit.

And also, just think, two 1k word articles is 1 million...

I'm going to keep thinking as this obviously wouldn't take effect right away.

That's a good solution to increase the quality. I would go for a low base amount of pay and increase it with bonusses for being well written , originality and such.

I voted no, simply because this unassigned junior period is so hellishly boring and unstimulating that the only thing keeping me interested is writing up interesting narratives for my player.

Granted, the quality of some of the articles coming out are...subpar, but simply give them less money for less quality, don't punish everyone. Either you want people to be active or not, and I don't see a problem with people getting lots of money for being very active.
