I have both the star trek movie and all of the LOTR movies, haven't watched them. Gonna get around to star trek eventually but it doesn't interest me that much, my dad used to watch te shows though.

Seen all the Harry potters and Star Wars and have read all the books.

If you've never seen the Star Wars films, you have an awesome chance to watch them for the first time in Machete Order. It's so much better than chronologically or by episode number. The order is IV, V, II, III, VI. So good, and it removes the displeasure you get from the absolute atrocity that is Episode I.

I saw a couple trailers, but didn't want to waste my time.

LOTR is my favourite movies/books that I have ever seen/read.

I honestly don't give a fuck if people who I don't know haven't seen or read them though. I might push for a buddy of mine IRL to get into it but im not going to freak out at him if he doesn't.
