As training camp opened one Saturday eve, with Rage after Rage on the ice.
We all planned to have a dinner together, reuniting again was nice.

As vets talked with rookies, and newcomers with old,
Our meal was rudely interrupted when we were told:

Our party was one short, as there sat a chair with no ass,
We were missing our first pick from the season 12 class.

So we got searching, checking every nook,
Hoping to fin the lost DuJuan Cook.

We searched through Manhattan all the night long,
Making nary a stop in case something was wrong.

Nugent-Hall checked the alleys, and Meb checked the street,
Charley checked the rooftops, and boy was that neat.

Kuli called the police and Grossmann made fliers,
Ocho rented ad space as it had become so dire.

Willems went to all of DuJuan's favorite places to look,
But sent word back to Sto Helit that there was no sign of Cook.

McArthur went to the strip club, we though selfishly so,
But DuJuan would never miss a Saturday show.

When the strippers hadn't sen him we were in fear,
Heiss screamed "if he was one place, it would have been here".

With the search winding down we decided to leave,
Reuniting the team was now beyond belief.

We all returned home both tired and shook,
Call if you know the whereabouts of DuJuan Cook.
