Jordan and Magnus

Every saga has to start somewhere; this story is no exception for that. It all happened years ago. Jordan Nugent-Hall was about 10 years old and was already looking to be one of the greatest hockey players to ever leave the city of Unionville, Ontario



The main part of that sentence is that he was destined to be one of the greatest. Probably the greatest trickster on the ice was Magnus, probably Jordan’s best friend. When Jordan was 10 years old he meet Magnus who was just born that year. As you can expect of a new born he wasn’t good on the ice. Jordan however couldn’t wait to play hockey with his best friend. He threw Magnus on the ice to see what would happen. Magnus was great in gliding over the ice and it wasn’t long before the not even 1 year old Magnus was faster than Jordan was on his skates.
His talent was remarkable and Jordan got jealous off his friend. All these years of trainings and he was losing to someone of Magnus his age? Impossible!

In order to not be humiliated he made a pact with Magnus and decided to stick together during their junior careers, due to Magnus his remarkable talent he was eligible to skip over a few age categories. Due to his size the other kids could not check him and he turned out to be one of the most gifted snipers in the existence of junior hockey. Ever since his junior hockey days it always was Magnus who stole the show, despite Jordan’s jealousy he always stuck by his little friend to watch over him when times would get tough.

Everything seems to be great and going well for Magnus, but the sad truth is that he didn’t have his parents anymore. Just after Magnus his birth they were hit by a truck and Magnus was adopted by the Faulkner family. When the Faulkner’s decided to move to Boston, Jordan was alone again.



His best friend was miles away from him. It would take until after their junior careers before they would see eachother again. When Nugent-Hall got drafted by the Manhattan Rage he got sent back to the Montreal Impact where he once again would play with Magnus. Magnus having grown atleast four times the size from when he was young was now playing as a defense.

Unfortunatly the time hasn’t gone in Magnus his favour, he lost his willingness to compete and didn’t enjoy hockey anymore. With only being 10 years old he got tired of hockey and stopped working out.

Jordan Nugent-Hall played 1 season with his childhood best friend and would finally be able to become a star while his friend never caught up to him due to being an old and grumpy 10 year old.

And Magnus, once again shipped off to the New England area, leaving Jordan for the second time. Jordan was still in tears, even though Magnus wasn’t playing Jordan was always happy to have Magnus cheering on the Rage.
Their friendship will last forever even when they are not together on the ice and being miles away from eachother.
