Vancouver- Montreal Trade
#1

To Whalers
Xaiver Mole
:impact: 7th

To :impact:
Kevin Marleau
Scarecrows 5th

If this offer came to me two weeks ago, I would of never done it but marleaus recent disappearance made me think it is time to look for another option at the centre position. Mole is a great player and he will definitely make us a better team for the cup run. He is also active which is a plus.

It is also great dealing with you JNH.

Tough to let Mole go. Been around him since Day 1 when he came back and he's been a true Impact.

We believe that Marleau and Mole offer similar skillsets so that is a pretty even deal. The picks definitely helped sway us and with the team not doing well, something needed to be done.

We move up in the draft and pick up someone who we believe will become active and updating eventually in the future. Even if not, it's a good depth FWD for us.

We'd like to thank Mole for his time in Montreal and he will be missed. We'd also like to welcome Marleau to Montreal.

VIVE L'IMPACT!

Thanks for the negotiations and being patient Hallsy Smile

Welcome, Mole. I am the No.2 goalie for Vancouver, and I am honoured at having someone who can play offense. It makes both the starter's and my lives easier, knowing that we will have goal support.
