Halfway throughout the 1st period, it is a relatively close game, but the Detroit Falcons capitalize on their chance as Chris MacMilan scores his 3rd of the season, from Zarins and Daugavins. In the 2nd, defense from both teams takes over as they are both held to 3 shots each, and none of them are even close to going in. In the 3rd, the defense and the goalies break their composure as offense is allowed to shine. 2 minutes into the 3rd, Finn Pippola scores his 4th. 7 minutes later, on the PP to make it 3-0, Chris MacMilan scores his 2nd of the night. Montreal responds in the next 3 minutes, with 3 quick goals of their own to tie the game to 3-3, as they respond as Dresnar, Scheib and Pettyfer each score one. Then, with 5 minutes left, Erick Hudson capitalizes on a chance to win it for Detroit as they took this game.

3 Stars

1 - Roland Wolf (STL)
2 - Joshua Botelho (STL)
3 - Damien Giannotti (KEL)

In the first period, the shot totals close, and the chances even, Roland Wolf scores his 5th of the season halfway through and it looks like it'll be 1-0 to end the first, that was before Wendal Clarke scored his 3rd on the PP with less than a minute remaining to tie the game for Detroit. In the 2nd period, with 5 minutes remaining, Jordan Eberle scores his 3rd, but Kayl Kuzie responds just a minute later with his 6th to tie it for Kelowna on the PP unit with less than 2 minutes remaining. Kelowna has never had the lead. 8 minutes into the 3rd, Joshua Botelho scores his 8th from Pickles and Wolf, but 4 minutes later, Kelowna responds yet again with Giannotti's 6th to tie it, and that was it for regulation. Overtime solved nothing as they headed into a shootout, the first 8 shots were stopped by both goalies, and the next 3 were all in, the goalies were rather shaky. With St. Louis leading, Kuzie had to scare, but the pressure made him miss the net, as St. Louis took this one.

Final Score 4-3 SO St. Louis
