We're always looking for dedicated young players to add to the team, the last few seasons we've been in a re-tool but able to remain a play-off team throughout that time and continuing our play-off streak that has seen us make the play-offs every season since S5. We hold the sixth overall pick in this draft and we hope to add at least one active player. 1. Why would you like to be a Dragon? I would like any team that feels they can develop youth to play at the next level
2. How active are you? (scale of 1 - 10) 8-10 (forums every day, don't necessarily post however)
3. What do you like most about the league? Not really sure, I guess it helped me learn skills I never thought I would learn (ie photoshopping, typesetting, BB Coding, etc)
4. What are your ambitions for your player and for yourself in the league? To become the best two-way forward to ever play in the SHL.
5. Will you update your player and do Point Tasks? Yes, unless those PTs are PbP
6. Where could you see yourself fitting in on the Dragons? Not really sure at the moment. Maybe start as a depth center, and possibly move into the top 2 lines come mid-to-late season.
7. In the future, could you see yourself taking on a leadership role? Depends how far in the future you are looking. Maybe 3-4 seasons down the road, once I learn all the ins-and-outs of the game.
8. Are you active in the LR? Do you engage in discussion daily? Yes, pretty close to daily.
1. Why would you like to be a Dragon? There's a good young core in Calgary, I'd like to be apart of that. Plenty of good defensemen who can help me develop a great defensemen myself.
2. How active are you? (scale of 1 - 10) I'd say an 8, there's room for improvement.
3. What do you like most about the league? The atmosphere, everyone I've talked to have been very encouraging and helpful.
4. What are your ambitions for your player and for yourself in the league? To become a coveted player and well respected member of the SHL community.
5. Will you update your player and do Point Tasks? ALWAYS.
6. Where could you see yourself fitting in on the Dragons? I think I'd fit in well, I see there's a big Latvian presence in Calgary, although I'm not Latvian my player is and I take pride in that. I also could see myself fitting in as a depth defensemen as soon as next year but another year in SMJHL is something I wouldn't mind, I've enjoyed it in Detroit.
7. In the future, could you see yourself taking on a leadership role? Absolutely. I've always felt that I'm a leader once I settle in.
8. Are you active in the LR? Do you engage in discussion daily? I haven't been as engaged as much as I wanted to be this season, but recently I've stepped it up.

I'll be honest, probably not my #1 choice, but the prospect of being the next in line of a franchise that has had so few goalies is intriguing. I like that there is a consistent and dependable history with the position for Calgary
