How to build a : Passer 2/7
#1

Strengths: Passing, Defence, Puck Handling
Weakness: Checking

You need passing to become a passer, this isn't rocket science people. Also Defence has a secodnary effect if you shoot or pass so it might be helpful to get your defence up. You need to have a high Puck Handling to be a passer, you want good puck skills, don't want give the puck away and it adds to your talent of passing. Also I am pretty sure it makes you get hit less but i could be wrong about this.

Player Attributes

CK = Checking: 50 :
If you want to be a physical force, go for it but remember this is your weakness and it will cost 2x as much as a normal attribute. Also again, right now the goal of this player build is building it as a passer as much as possible and as efficiently as possible.

FG = Fighting: 25
DI = Discipline: 62

NO need of these to become a star passer.

SK = Skating: 50
ST = Strength: 50

Pick and choose which one you want to be good at. Don't forget about the one area where you don't want to get good at but you need to be stronger in skating of strength than the other one. This will make you stronger on your feet and harder to catch-up.

EN = Endurance: 50
One of the most underrated attributes in the league, some people say that is it teh most important. It affects everything when you are tired so if you want to be a top lone guy playing 25 mins a game, you need a high endurance or you will not perform as high as you would've with low endurance. SO try to get this to 95 as soon as possible but really you need to adjust this to the role on your team and around the league. For example having 90 endurance in Junior might seem like a good idea but it is unwise as really you only need 80 endurance because the rest of the league's endurance isn't really high. Also it means that you won't have as good skills as everyone else, it might make sense if you are a defence-men with high expectations of a lot of minutes. Also any Junior GM that gives out their players more than 23 mins a night shouldn't be a fuckin junior GM and is borderline retarded. IF you are playing more than 23 mins a night and you are playing like shit, blame your GM.

DU = Durability: 50
no need

PH = Puck Handling: 50
Back when giveaways and takeaways were a thing in the SHL, this would be a important stat. You want to be able to handle the puck and remember that puck handling and skating effect if you are going to skate or pass. You want to become a passer but you also want to be efficient enough to skate and score all at the same time.

FO = Face Offs: 50
If you want to be a centre then go ahead and get this up to 95.

PA = Passing: 50
Get this to 99. You want to be the best at passing and remember to look at your potential line mates if they have high scoring to passing/defence ratio's then well you need to counter act that and have higher passing than scoring.

SC = Scoring: 50
Shouldn't be the same/ higher or within 5 points not tpe of passing or defence if you want to be a good pass first player.

DF = Defense: 50
Defense is a part of the decision making process to pass, so you need this to get it high enough to become a pass first player. Remember that scoring shouldn't be higher than this or even 5 points near it. try to always have your defence and passing ahead of you.

Passer is really one of the easier player build to create as I find that they are more SHL ready than snipers, snipers take a little bit more time to develop in the SHL for some reason as usually you need the 99 scoring/99 puck handling/ 99 skating to become one of the better snipers in the league. A passer is a important player to any lines success and you need to be aware of what your line mates and your team mates are improving and try to build around that to become a good player as chemistry is by far the most important thing in the engine.
