It's been an entire season since he last played an official regular season game and we can't imagine that time has been easy on him. As his team played their hearts out but came up short of a playoff birth for S22, Magnus Jakobsen was sidelined with a season long suspension. As a new season approaches with the preseason finally ending, Jakobsen and his Steelhawks are once again coming together and finding the success they once had together. It's a long season with numerous obstacles in his way, but he's ready.

The last while has obviously been fairly difficult for me. There's been a lot of.. say.. turbulence surrounding the Hamilton Steelhawks franchise and myself. It wasn't easy sitting out and it was a very long ride. I didn't enjoy watching my team miss the playoffs for the first time in years and years and it definitely was a very strong lesson learned. If I could go back, sure I'd change things but you can't look at it like that if you want to be successful. You can't hold on to these things and you need to move forward. I'm moving forward, with Hamilton, and just like we did before - we have something really good here in the works".

The Hamilton Steelhawks have managed a 13-5-0 record during the S23 preseason and have seen excellent efforts from their entire roster. Even if some offensive stats are dipping, we need to keep in mind it's the preseason and much can change. However, looking at the Steelhawks roster - I think it's safe to say we can expect a run for the playoffs and potentially a championship.

It feels amazing to be back and on the ice with the boys. We clicked fairly quick and have great rhythm going right now and hopefully we can find great consistency and success throughout the duration of the regular season. I look to play the best I can and be the best I can in hopes that we find those things".
