RS91 Player Agency wants you to become a client! We are an extremely professional agency owned and operated by SHL Hall of Fame member Robert Spezza. He also acts as our primary agent and represents all of our clients.

Robert is a 2x SMJHL Co-GM, 2x SMJHL GM, 1x SHL Co-GM, former SHL PBP Director, IIHF WJC Commissionaire and of course has multiple individual and team accolades throughout his playing career.

Throughout his time in the league Robert has learned lots pertaining to players, GMs and contracts. His experience in all of this will provide you with a great advantage in negotiating your next contract as he is able to combine all three and work to get you the most valuable contract.

Our agency specializes in younger players, primarily SMJHL players, upcoming draftees and players signing their ELC or first regular SHL contract. However, we are more than happy to represent veteran SHL players as well.



But you may ask yourself, why do I want a player agent when I can just negotiate for myself?

That is an entirely fair question, and there is no one specific answer. So allow us to list a few that have influenced players to acquire the representation of a player agent in the past.

- Rookies looking for an experienced member to help them negotiate fair contracts
- Free agents looking to use a player agent as leverage for a more favorable contract
- Players looking to focus more on their play and training rather than contract negotiations



That's all fine and dandy, but why pick RS91 over any other?

Again, another entirely fair question, and again there's no one specific reason.

- Robert Spezza has experience as a GM, player and lots of experience negotiating contracts. Bringing all three together allows him to negotiate the most favorable contract for you
- We also provide media articles in your contract year, raising you stock as a player or soon to be free agent. Funds from said media article will be wired to your account
- We can provide a bridge between GMs and players should any sort of issues arise in negotiations



And finally, we charge no fees for our services and do not plan to at any point in the future.

Luka is our first ever client. He has spent the large majority of his career with his junior team, the Vancouver Whalers. Luka will be looking to make the jump to the SHL and play for his big club, the Toronto North Stars, this upcoming season. He is one of the league's top prospects and Toronto is lucky to have him as part of their team. Luka will be looking to make noise in his rookie season.

Richard quickly joined our agency following Luka. Richard just finished up his rookie season with his junior team, the Vancouver Whalers, and is set to be drafted by an SHL team in this upcoming SHL Entry Draft. Richard is expected to return to the Vancouver Whalers for the upcoming season, barring any unforeseen circumstances, so he will have time to develop further before becoming a top defensemen in the SHL.

Richard will be looking to sign his ELC very soon.

Kyle is our very first goalie client. He is considered to be the top goalie prospect heading into the SHL Entry Draft. We were ecstatic to get the opportunity to represent such a great up and coming goaltender. Kyle spent the season with the Regina Force and as many goalie tend to do nowadays he will likely head back to the Force for another few seasons but will excel there and look to excel once he makes the jump to the SHL.

Kyle will be looking to sign his ELC very soon.

Kaspars Tsizling

Kaspars is one of the Wolfpack's top defensemen and looks to continue to build on his already amazing career. The Wolfpack may be entering a retool but Kaspars will continue to dominate and help to lead them through this.

We are extremely excited to announce that we have come to an agreement with Vlad McZehrl to represent him.. Vlad is an extremely talented young player and is expected to be one of the very first few players to be selected in the upcoming SHL Entry Draft. Vlad spent the season with the Vancouver Whalers and judging based upon the success he has there he should only keep getting better and better on his way to SHL super-stardom.

We also look forward to representing Vlad in all of his future endeavors!
