<div align="center">The newly acquired Mike Ross of the Halifax Raiders was in action earlier today notching 1 goal and 1 assist in his 2 games played. Mike had a solid debut and made use of his lethal shot sniping it from the wing on the best powerplay unit in the league. Mike helped the Raiders overcome a dry spell and got them back on track with an assist in the second game. It was a good showing for the rookie as he proved many of his critics wrong for the time being as many had thought there would be at least some rust to shake off.

Mike was quoted to say, "Let's go win that f------ championship boys!", after the huge home win to break the losing streak and return the Halifax Raiders back to their winning ways.

The home crowd cheered ecstatically as Mike Ross scored his first career pro goal on his first shot of the game and during his first shift. It was an unbelievable moment and Mike Ross had no expression but utter happiness on his face as he had defied the odds and had "made it" so to say.

Mike Ross: Not very disappointed. IF Vancouver wins the championship, they'll have to ultimately go through the Raiders. May the best team win, just try not to riot when you guys lose.
