Like the Richards move as well, basically get a former star willing to prove he's still got more in the tank on a low risk contract. Either he's good and he helps this team in the playoffs, or he doesn't work out and you cut ties with him after the year. Can't really lose.

Worked out well for us and Fleishmann, not so much with Semin.
