Jason Aittokallio
When you ask SHL players who was the greatest goaltender, Jakub Aittokallio is sure to be one of the many players to be mentioned. He had an amazing career with the Edmonton Blizzard and is a sure hall of famer. When news of his son Jason was to be drafted in the SMJHL, you can imagine the hype that would come with him. Jason, born in Edmonton Alberta, plays for Finland due to his Father being born in Tampere, Finland. A 6'3 Hybrid Goalie, Jason has been taught from a young age the ways of a goaltender. When scouts watch Jason play, they do refer to Jakub as a comparable, their style of play is hardly different. Aittokallio is an all around great goaltender, speedy glove, surprisingly fast blocker, reaction time and rebound control, agility, he's practically got it all. if given the chance to draft him, GMs would surely do so, he isn't expected to fall past the top 5 in this draft.

Kyle Wahlgren
Hold your horses Jason, you aren't the only Finnish goaltender you know? 18 year old Kyle Wahlgren is hot on your trial. Although he may not have had the same hype at first, he is quickly being noticed as another top goaltending prospect. Born in Lahti, Finland, Kyle is a 5'11 Hybrid Goalie. He's got an all around great game, he's got quick hand speed, agility, and reflexives. His main weakness being his size or lack thereof. He isn't the biggest goalie sure, but the kid's got a crap ton of heart in him. GMs definitely have Kyle Wahlgren on their radar, it'll all be a question on when will they pull the trigger to bring him in will be the question

Toivo Kosonen
next up we have a defenceman from Oulu Finland, 18 year old Toivo Kosonen is an offensive defenceman in the upcoming SMJHL draft. Flying under the radar quite a bit, recently he has grabbed some attention recently but it's somewhat safe to say that he'll be a late 2nd rounder to 3rd rounder in the draft. Toivo is sure to need some help developing but the potential is definitely there. Toivo's got a good shot, he can pass and he is defensively capable. He's also able to deliver a crushing hit on the boards, a skill often overlooked by offensive defenceman. He'll have to work on his skating, puck handling, and endurance for sure if he wants to make it to the SHL.
