The Seattle Riot have many names up for captaincy again this year, making the choice very difficult for GM Michael Abdalla and Co-GM probablydrunk. Guys like Trevor Wilson, Gunnar Rask and Viatcheslav Orlov starting to take on big roles on the team, veteran presences like Jack Burton, Patrick Brumm, Cameron Urbowicz, David Benson, Dean Colt and Jed Lloren. But in the end, there could only be a select few that have the honour of representing their team as the official leaders!

We kick things off with the man who will wear the A for all away games this season.

This man has been a huge part of the locker room in Seattle, he has also been a valued member in the scouting department. His pllayer is a young player looking to enter his prime soon, and just came off a rookie season that saw him produce well with limited ice time, and has already been awarded with the promise of playing more hockey on a more offensive line this season. He is one of the fan favorites, and one of the faces of this franchise's future!

Our first Assistant Captain TREVOR WILSON! <a href='index.php?showuser=2293' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-17'>twils</a>

Next we move on to the player who will be wearing the A for all home games this season.

This player has been one of the most loyal members of the Riot in recent years, he seems to have been a part of the organization forever now, and has reached his first season of regression. He is a veteran presence in the locker room, and has consistently been one of the top point producers on the ice. Last season he stepped up for the team, and took a role on defense for the first time in his career, and will be doing so again this year! He's a fan favourite here in Seattle, and that is why we chose him to be our assistant at home!

Next we move to our primary assistant captain

One of our most active members of the locker room, and one of the guys who helps me and pd out the most in all aspects of the team including scouting and coaching. He takes a lot of slack every year, and handles it with class, and I cannot think of anyone else to lead this team every game as our assistant captain.

Finally we move on to this seasons CAPTAIN!

There is really no surprise here, most would probably have guessed this seasons captain before even opening the thread. He has been the face of the Seattle Riot franchise for as long as one can remember. His player is the corner stone of the Riot defense, and even though he is highly under-rated around the league due to not being the flashiest defender, the Seattle Riot know he is one of, if not the most valuable player on the ice. Off the ice he is a great member of the locker room, and has been a huge hand with line management, scouting and consulting in the management department.

For the 3rd year in a row, the Seattle Riot captain is JACK BURTON!
