Around the Horn is back! That means once again you have the opportunity to give me topics to discuss, as well as a 30 second "face-time" bit that people can PM to me for extra cash!

Also people keep forgetting that you can win 500k for PMing me a "30 second facetime" that I may use for the victor's speech. Can be related to any SHL (or real life) subject and should be between 100-200 words. Either write something funny or interesting, I'm fine with either.

Keep in mind that your topic should be a little more broad in terms of a team or player's performance, as that may change in the next few days.

There are 10 topics, and a few different segments which would be better suited for different topics.

The First Word

Two current sports headlines are discussed. The panelists give detailed arguments and can also give rebuttals to other panelists.

Buy or Sell:

A rapid-fire segment in which the panelists are asked to "buy" or "sell" (be for or against) three different concepts, also drawn from current sports headlines.

Out of Bounds/Lightning Round:

Out of Bounds: This round, always played as the third round, is dedicated to talking about one story which is indirectly sports-related. Serious and controversial topics, such as steroid use and suspensions, are usually discussed in this round, and few to no points are awarded.

Lightning Round: Another third round, this being a continuation of the sports discussion with two or three rapid-fire topics.

If there is no "Out of Bounds" topic to discuss, I will utilize three lightning round topics. If there is, I will use one out of bounds topic and two lightning round topics.

Showdown:

Mentioned above, the two remaining columnists take sides on any sports or cultural stories remaining. There are two or three questions, depending on the amount of time left.

Facetime:

The winner of the showdown and therefore winner of that particular episode gets around 30 seconds (more or less depending on time left in show frame) to talk about anything he or she wishes to discuss. PM me your facetime and my favorite one will be used. Facetimes posted here will not be considered. This one should be about 100-200 words in length. It can be shorter if you would like, but that is what I am looking for. Best facetime will receive 500k.

Please use the template below if you are going to make a suggestion for any of the topics. You may make as many suggestions as you like. Please note that if it is a topic you may think needs a lot of research done, it will help to get it picked if you give me a general idea of what should be discussed. Whoever makes the most suggestions that I use in the article will win 500k. In the case of a tie each person will earn 300k. You must use the template to be eligible.
