Not sure why Slappy is upset about the makeup of his group... he's literally second overall league-wide in fantasy right now and probably has a decent shot at winning it all.

Bonk managed to wind up in the absolute slowest drafting fantasy group of the lot- I think maybe 3 of those 8 people are actually active SHL participants. None the less, I've been updating their picks on the sheet.

This is the problem

The number of hours allowed for a group to draft 864 hours

Number of hours in a week 168

That math does not work.

The draft needs to start sooner or the hour per pick needs to be reduced (which could be tough) or some combination of both. :(

P.S. this past off season was about 480 hours.

The zero enforce of the 18 hour rule by some mangers does not help. There should be a finical penalty the mangers for not enforcing the timeframe. It is there job, it is sad that this falls on individuals in the group.

The drafts were definitely started later than usual, which was our bad, and not to become a normal thing.

I'm not so certain about reducing the grace period for picks. It's been 2 weeks since the fantasy groups were opened and all but 3 are done; even your group has therefore averaged less than 8 hours per pick, and nearly half of them would've been 6 or less. But people get skipped anyway- and I bet it tends to be the same people, people in wonky timezones like me or people without much free time.

I agree that there is not much that can be done for the time for picks as things would be very difficult for people in different time zones and having a life.

Although we should an option for speeding this up. Set up a live draft option or some groups if sign up for it or something. We have live drafts all the time in the SHL
