What will you, personally, have to do in the series against the Militia to ensure Kelowna brings the cup home?

Well Militia is a very strong team that can defend with a great goalie and has a lot of offense. So personally, I have to put a lot of effort and not be lousy. I have to make smart plays, make this thing serious and not a joke, not eat any cookies and eat waffles. Lots and lots waffles. Breakfast, Lunch, pre game, and Dinner.

What will the team as a whole have to do to win?

Maybe the same thing but never give up. Our team has to have full control in every play and not to be bad. We have to have full confidence and to our goalie. We hope Thompson is a brick wall for every game because he is the reason we're in the Finals right now. So we have to score a lot of goals and also defend very well because defense wins championships.

Take us through your performance in game seven. What were you thinking when you scored those goals? What was the attitude on the bench and in the locker room?

I mean it was an important game for us and myself. If we lost that game, we would be done. So I was thinking that I don't want to sit and watch the Finals because I want to be part of the finals. Those goals I scored. Well. The first one was pretty lucky because I just shot it with no intense and I find out it goes into the net. The second goal was a great set up by Ambrose and he's been great. Us two have chemistry and hopefully it continues throughout the finals. The locker room attitude was very pleased and happy about the win and they all said I'm a beast and a legend.

How ready are you to once again pour syrup on your waffles from the Four Star Cup?

Oh man, 3 straight seasons pouring syrup on waffles from the cup? Hell ya baby. I'm ready to do that.

Highlights of the season?

Hmm, pretty tough one individually. I have to say my best game where I ended up with a goal and two assists as a 3rd line. Thanks to Ambrose with the help. As a team, its us clinching the playoff spot with this group and how great we are.

Rielly has started to develop as a top prospect, what is the long term goal?

Wowow, I have to say, i'm not the top prospect here. I've developed to become the 2nd best prospect. Langabeer is WKP top prospect with all due respect. My long term goal is to make it to the SHL Roster and surprise everyone on who I truly am.

Off season plans?

Maybe working out, having fun, eating, and getting better, attend the draft. I just want this offseason to end quick. I want to play.

Who does Leafer want to win the Challenge Cup?

I already won the Four-Star Cup so why not win the biggest prize in this league as well and win the Challenge Cup. Obviously want to win it with the Platoons as they did help me progress throughout my career so definitely.

What attributes are you most excited to dump your TPE into once you get up to SHL?

This is an easy one. obviously going to put all mt points into Penalty Shot. What else and maybe some into Fighting and Checking. It'll definitely help me become a better player in the SHL. Or the second choice. Get my puck handling and skating to 80 and passing to 85 and others to 75s. I'm a playmaker so this will help a lot. I also want to prove i'm the biggest steal in the draft.

Is your boy going to confide in the Knights alumni on WKP? Who's his bff on the team thus far?

He better be in the Knights alumni or he will roast the shit out of them for what he did to help the team. He deserves every bit of it on making the Knights alumni. Not only that, he wants his number to be retired so no one ever wears his number. His bff is Langy obviously and his 2nd is probably Ambrose.

Is he going to keep eating waffles in the offseason?

Yup. He's going to eat lots of waffles and he's going to get forced by his management and Alex Light. Making sure he doesn't eat pancakes or cookies of course. Waffles from now on is going to be his breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I'm. I'm very proud and honored. It was always a dream to be part of the illustrious X Clan. He wanted his name with an X but apparently not. So instead of Leafer, its XLeafer

Why should Langabeer be considered the top prospect and not you?

Because he's better than me, he has more TPE than me, he's more consistent than me, he's more likable than me, he can do everything better than me, he can skate better than me, he can shoot better than me, he can defend better than me, he can celebrate better than me, he can cheer better than me, he can be a better leader than me, he can be more perfect better than me, he's just...better than me.

Does it make the loss easier knowing that your future teammate Travis Jeziak was on the team that defeated the Knights in the finals and that it was his last chance to win a Four Star Cup?

When I see him, I want to slash the shit out of him when the threepeat was so close to me. But in the Leafer Rielly, i'd take it. Every player loses a chance and I'm happy for Jeziak to win the cup. I have 2 already. 2 fucking cups.

What kind of challenges will the Knights have to face next season? What moves do you think your team will need to make to stay competitive?

Lots of challenges. First off, we'll be without our captain clutch Cory Knouse and heavy hitter Vasily Horvat. And we have rookies who'll make their debuts and we have to have trust on them and see what they do. They'll be future SHL Stars and we want to make them progress but also win. We don't want to be dead last because that makes no sense for the Knights. So we draft well, fill in the holes and have trust on Thompson again and never see a 12 saves on 16 shots.
