Not much to say, have to be to work soon and I'm feeling very sleepy for some reason. I would just like to point out the opening movie clip, as we never address it in the episode. It's from the original The In-Laws, a classic comedy with Peter Falk and Alan Arkin. It's one of the funniest movies I've ever seen and a personal favorite.

I was actually expecting Koch Schroder to take it home too, especially considering that the difference in goals was at a 5v5 level. The only thing I can think of that would lean heavily towards me are the team level stats- Schroder scored 17-33-50 on a team that had 174 goals, but Metzler scored 10-38-48 on a team that only scored 136 goals. That's being involved in a 5th of all team scoring compared to being involved in a 3rd of all team scoring.

I think, in context, you were very deserving. That rant was more about Bonk's frustration level with the awards committee over the course of Manius' career. He was only ever nominated one time, which is, of course, a total joke. When we had it paused he started looking at it, getting worked up. I think both of us agreed you had a great and deserving year. It just seemed a change, albeit a welcome one, from previous practice.
