The Eastern Europe WJC Head Office is proud to present this year's WJC captains! This year, we will be dividing the captaincy equally among three members of our team. These players have shown tremendous skill and leadership both on and off the ice, and it is a pleasure to have them now serve in a position where they can truly thrive. Without further ado, your WJC Captains! Hailing from Moscow in Russia, this offensive forward was a key force behind the Montreal Militia's cup run. At 18 years old, this is the last time he'll ever play in the World Juniors, but it's been a pleasure to have him along. Please welcome to the stage, DAYYMO RALCHANKINOV!
Next up, born somewhere in the wilds of Czechoslovakia, we have a defenseman who's been a leader in the Colorado locker room both on and off the ice. While it will also likely be his last season in the World Juniors, we are certain that he'll also be able to find success in the IIHF. Please welcome to the stage, KEVIN MADDOX!
Finally, from Krāslava , Latvia, we have the Captain of the Vancouver Whalers. Still young, he may get to play in the World Juniors yet again next year and we certainly hope that he does. The defensive centre has been a boon to the Whalers all season both on the rink and in the room, and it is my pleasure to announce as our third captain, ALEX ANDANI!
With these three great captains to lead us forwards, I certainly see great things coming in this team's future. Congratulations! @damienj10 @Carbine @Toxic e
