TSN: Well Lesahun we're here again. The team keeps rolling and you keep struggling.

Leshaun: Yeah, can we get that part of this over with it and get to stuff thats actually exciting, our teams record so far and progress.

TSN: Okay, tare off the band aid. You went 7 games scoring 1 goal and having 1 assist. You now follow it up with two games where you have no points. How frustrated are you right now with your own play?

Leshaun: I'm terribly frustrated. I'm not scoring, I'm not winning faceoffs, I'm not generating chances. I've been pretty useless out there this season and it needs to change. I need to start playing better. I'm going to keep working hard, and turn these fortunes around as soon as we can, cause I'll need to play better to contribute to the big club, but then again, what matters most is the team winning and they are.

TSN: First game of the two is against Colorado, how do you feel about your teams performance.

Leshaun: I think it was overall a steady performance against a team that we currently are ahead of in the standinngs. One that we needed to win and we executed well. I love that Thomas got his first goal, very happy for him, deserves it. Great way to open the scoring. Quinn had a nice one on the powerplay in the second to keep things going and our club traded goals in the third. They pushed back, got it to with in one, so credit it to them, but we didn't change our game, and we responded two minutes later to restore the lead, sort of kill the come back and ride the game out. We got peppered in the second period, we're lucky we came out of that with the edge, but we can't keep relying on Geezus every night to have to play like that for us to win.

TSN: Player of the game for you?

Leshaun: I think Crush had an underrated game, 4 big hits and a nice shot. I think he was good. And need to give some love to Kristof, 3 shots, blocked a shot and a big goal for us. Great game by the boys.

TSN: Second game, against Montreal, you lost the game pretty handedly, what went wrong?

Leshaun:Well I liked our start. They took an early penalty and we converted on it to take the leader, we got gifted a second one right after and we sort of took our foot of the gas and didn't bury them when we had the chance. Then right after not scoring on our power play we go and give them one which they do score on. So we let an opportunity slip there. Going into the third 6 seconds in they score and that was a big blow. We clawed our way back into the game with Spears second goal and tied it up, but then again we turn around and give the game right back to them with allowing a goal 30 seconds later. Third we wanted to come our strong, but we took a penalty right at the end of the second, start of the third they buried it and ended us it felt. We need more resilience, we need more consistency and we need to learn how to beat these strong teams.

TSN: Player of the game here?

Leshaun: No doubt Kyle Corbett. He was an animal, goal, 4 shots, 2 hits 3 blocked shots, just a force out there, love watching him when he gets going like that.

TSN: Well Leshaun you have Kelowna next, that'll be a big challenge, Are you guys up for it?

Leshaun: I mean, we'll see its our first time playing them this year, they've been on a tear. We're 1-1 versus Vancouver, so we'd love to be able to say we can also be on par with Kelowna. So we'll see how it goes. They really are a team that can roll three lines, all three are list first lines so it'll be a fun game to play against them.
