episode 5: Funny thing is when I was a rookie, caltroit, myself and a few other S39 bois were doing a media team kinda deal. I put out a lot of media under that, but it eventually died off. Honestly if there was a way to set up like an official league media team, I'd love to be apart of it, but the only problem is getting people to stay engaged. Best thing I can think of right now would be to have a few specific members of the team and then have "freelance" writers write on occasion if they have something they are passionate about, but then again then it would feel like an exclusive club and that just seems wrong. Also fun fact, at one point there were SHL and SMJHL teams in Vancouver (SMJHL: Whalers/SHL: NIghtmare)

Listened to pod 5 today and you guys touched on some great stuff in the final moments of it. Adams point on Media and it missing out on many of the important aspects of the hockey experience is something ive been griping about for a long time!.. Actualy as host of the IIHF last season i began to implament some of the 'official' media ideas you talked about (which was receieved well by our members).... we could easily add official media for the SHL... but that would require some of our money hawks to allow some new very good paying jobs into the mix.
