We are currently riding on a 7 games winning streak, including two wins against the former leading team the Halifax Raiders. Game Notes - Game 20: Our biggest lost so far. Apparently that was the wake up call. - Game 22: Rookie Mattie Brunton picked up his first points with a 2 assists game. - Game 25: Gordie Boomhover scored his first career hattrick. - Game 27: Shoot-out winner by Gordie Boomhover (4th taker), Rookie Dmitri Dergachyov earned his first win. - Game 29: Shoot-out winner by Basil Magnicotta (7th taker) - Game 30: This win against Anaheim moved us ahead of them in the standings. Halifax Raiders dropped to 5 thanks to our 2 wins against them. Despite our impressive record against Kelowna Knights (7 GP, 6 W, 1 OTL) they are 3 points ahead. Sadly we don't play against them anymore this season. Who is on a hot streak? - Our first line units combined for a +34 plusminus in 11 games (Fleming +8, Hoover +8, Boomhover +7, McScruff +6, Magnicotta +5) - Gordie Boomhover is on fire with 8 goals and 4 assists. - Ty Hoover collected 11 points (9 assists and 2 goals). - Slip McScruff collected 9 points (2 goals and 7 assists) and added 22 hits. - Rookie Isaac Yamada added 5 assists bringing his total points to 10 (all assists). - Our second powerplay forward unit collected 12 points on the man-advantage ( Tougard 2g 3a, Fox 1g 3a, Boomhover 2g 1a) Who is on a cold streak? - Fork Spoon slowed down with 2 points and -4 in 11 games. - Rookie Noah Gallagher is still pointless after 27 games.
