Hot po-take-to:  Hold on to yer butts!  Ebenezer Virtanen got a hit!  The Kelowna center has been potato hoarding for quite some time now but finally decided to relinquish The Potato to a new owner.  Georgy Gorbachenko of the Raptors got Potato Smacked immediately after Virtanen lost a faceoff in the offensive zone.  We were all wondering if Virtanen would ever break up his relationship with The Potato and it appears that today was the day.

Hot po-take-to: Gorbachenko couldn't hold the Hot Potato, but Alex Ranch sure doesn't appear to have any problems handling his spud. He put in his 2nd goal of the year within 4 minutes of receiving The Potato. He then proceeded to do exactly nothing for the rest of the game, but you can't complain about a goal can you? If only he brought in a few more as Kelowna fell to Colorado 4-2.

Hot po-take-to: Well I might have gotten a bit ahead of myself when stating that Ranch is able to handle The Potato. Alex managed to completely disappear in tonight's game. He put up a staggering 0 goals on 0 shots, 0 assists, 0 PIM, and 0 shot blocks in 14:50 of ice time. He did, however, manage to get a -2 for the night so I guess that's something? Or is it less than something? Better luck next time Alex
