Meeting KnockedOut ByOvechkin
#1

Hello Simulation Hockey League it is I ddrector, the famed agent that I’m sure you’ve heard about, but in case you have been stuck underground I’ll give you a quick rundown. I first became an agent when I saw a need in the National Simulation Football League and that’s when I signed Cornerback David Rector as my first player. He has gone on to win an Ultimus with the New Orleans Second Line as well as making the Pro Bowl and winning a couple of Awards for his play last season. It took awhile for me to get my bearings in the NSFL, so I stuck with just the one player for a while, but eventually David had a friend who was looking to join the Pro Baseball Experience and so I added a second player to my agency in Acuña Matata who had a phenomenal rookie season in the minor league with the Chicago Kingpins where he won the Silver Slugger award at Center Field. With the success I’ve had with my first two clients I figured now was the time to add a third, and that’s why I am here talking to you. So without further ado let's get to the real reason we are here, to meet my agency's newest player.

It seemed like a natural progression to add a player joining the Simulation Hockey League to my growing list of players and I did just that when I discovered KnockedOut ByOvechkin. A bit of a long name that I frankly don’t feel like typing up every time I write about him, so I’m going to call him Kobo for short. Kobo hails from Russia and is an up and coming young star that I suspect won’t take long to make a name for himself in the SHL. While Kobo was born in Russia he didn’t spend much time there as his parents moved the family around to find the best place for Kobo and his older brothers to get the best training possible for their hopeful eventual hockey careers. While some of Kobo’s older brothers had spent more time in Russia, Kobo had been young when the family moved to Ontario, Canada where he lived for a good portion of his childhood. As the youngest of four boys in his family he was always picked on by his older brothers and for years they wouldn’t play hockey with him because he was too small and not good enough. This led to a fierce determination that Kobo used to do everything he could to prove his brothers wrong and he trained and focused more on hockey than any of his other brothers. After training away from his brothers for a year in Minneapolis with legendary hockey coach Gordon Bombay Kobo came back to Ontario and challenged his brothers to a 3 on 1 hockey match. Kobo swept the floor with his brothers and after he took a quick 5 to 0 lead they conceded and never bullied Kobo again. Kobo has continued to develop his skills in the Canadian juniors leagues where he has won many awards as he quickly has risen to become a highly sought after prospect.

Kobo typically plays Right Wing and he is best described as a sniper. He likes to jockey for position in front of the goal and deflect passes into the goal. He has an incredible eye for the offensive zone and routinely puts himself in position to score. While his major focus of his training has been on the offensive side he has taken some time to learn the more important aspects of the defensive side of the puck. He has a long way to go before he may be considered great on both the offense and the defense, but he has at least made a start. Kobo’s main objective right now is to score goals. He wants to score tons of goals and then score even more goals. He plans on scoring so many goals that the defensive side doesn’t matter because his team has taken such a big lead. Look for Kobo to score goals in a SMJHL game near you soon.

I don't hate either Svechnikov brother. Andrei is one of my favorite players on my favorite NHL team.
